Celebrity Cruises’ 2020 Europe season is expected to be the line’s most “revolutionary” yet. The brand unveiled 4 new longer European voyages onboard its newest liner - Apex, the second vessel from the Edge Series.
The new itineraries onboard Celebrity Apex include three 10- and 11-night Eastern Mediterranean trips as well as a new 11-night Western Mediterranean journey.
- A couple of 11-night Greece, Malta & Turkey voyages depart from Civitavecchia-Rome, visiting Istanbul, Ephesus (Kusadasi), Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Valletta, and Barcelona, while on the 10-night Greece, Malta & Turkey cruise, passengers are immersed in 8 ports, including Barcelona, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Athens, Naples, and Rome.
- An 11-night Spain, France & Italian Riviera expedition sails round-trip from Barcelona, visiting Provence (Marseille), Monte Carlo, Nice, Santa Margherita, Rome, Naples, Palma De Mallorca, and Valencia.
- Following the vessel’s Southampton debut, Apex offers a mini-season of 5 itineraries to European destinations, such as the Norwegian Fjords and Spain's and Portugal's northern coasts. Aboard the newbuild travelers can experience a 10-night Capital Cities Cruise with calls at iconic cities including Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris.
- After the Northern Europe mini-season of Celebrity Apex, she is due to spend the rest of her inaugural summer cruising 7- to 12-night Mediterranean itineraries, with visits to Lisbon, Istanbul, Monte Carlo, Cannes, and more.
An addition to the new European itineraries is Trieste Italy and the first mini-season of voyages from homeport Lisbon Portugal (with included overnights). Country-immersive journeys are being introduced that focus on Greece and Italy, designed to give tourists a greater, in-depth experience.
In 2020, Celebrity returns to Turkey (Istanbul, Kusadasi) and Oslo Norway (with overnights). The company also offers overnights in Dublin Ireland and Reykjavik Iceland. Celebrity’s European itineraries offer more than 90 destinations and 48 overnight stays.
