Seabourn unveiled the special events throughout the upcoming 145-day World Cruise 2022 (themed "Extraordinary Horizons") on the ship Seabourn Sojourn.
The lineup, available exclusively to passengers who book the full journey, offers performances, dinners, and tours at destinations including a sculpture museum and garden in Keelung-Taipei Taiwan; the beaches of the Maldives; and a battleship in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Scheduled to depart from Los Angeles CA on January 11, 2022, and end in Piraeus-Athens Greece on June 6, 2022, the voyage crosses 2 oceans, visits 72 ports/islands in 28 countries, with 20 port overnights.
As with every Seabourn World Cruise, the "Extraordinary Horizons" offers top-luxury travel amenities and experiences. Customers booked on the full itinerary enjoy authentic and intimate evening events.
Scheduled World Cruise events include:
- Exclusive 1940’s Evening on Board the Battleship Missouri, scheduled for January 20, 2022, and kicking off at Battleship Row in Pearl Harbor (from Honolulu Hawaii). Passengers will be able to board the Battleship USS Missouri, popular as “Mighty Moe”. The evening includes 1940s patriotic performances featuring a troupe reminiscent of the era, hors d’oeuvres, and cocktails.
- Intimate Dinner at the Stone Sculpture Museum & Gardens, scheduled for March 24, 2022, at Keelung (Taipei), Taiwan. Yangmingshan National Park is one of 9 national parks in Taiwan, popular for cherry blossoms, fumaroles, and hot springs. Passengers will be welcomed with craft cocktail tastings and time for a stroll around the grounds of the Sculpture Museums & Gardens. They’ll also enjoy a private dinner serving authentic local food, followed by a performance of a zheng (guzheng), a Chinese plucked zither.
- An Evening at the Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Resort, scheduled for May 14, 2022, at Male, Kaafu Atoll, Maldives, discovering the beauty of the Indian Ocean. A BBQ dinner on the beaches of Adaaran Prestige Vadoo is included. The Maldives luxury resort is situated at the gateway to the South Atolls. Guests will be received with a Boduberu performance and welcome drinks, followed by a barbeque dinner with a mix of international cuisine accompanied by a DJ.
In addition to the 3 exclusive events, the World Voyage will include two of Seabourn’s most popular signature events available to all passengers complimentary: Caviar in the Surf Beach Barbecue (at Kood Island Thailand) and the “Evening at Ephesus” (June 4, from Kusadasi Turkey) with a private classical concert in the ruins.
