Canda is a Tartaro River (Fissero-Tartaro-Canalbianco-Po di Levante/Tartarus) cruise port and a small town in Italy's Veneto region (Rovigo Province) with population around 1,000. The town is approx 20 km (12 mi) west of Rovigo City (the province's capital). Canda is served by the Verona-Rovigo highway (length 93 km / 58 mi).
Tartaro River runs between Adige River and Po River. The river's first part is named "Tartaro" (52 km / 32 mi) and runs through the provinces Verona and Mantua. The second part is named "Canalbianco" (78 km / 48 mi) and runs through the Rovigo province. The third part is named "Po di Levante" (17 km / 11 mi) runs through Rovigo and flows into the Adriatic Sea. Via artificial canals, the waterway is connected to Po River and Adige River.

Canda's most popular tourists attractions include Villa Nani Mocenigo (aka Villa Bertetti/16th-century manor house with a large garden, greenhouses, stables, cottages, chapel, a leisure park with numerous stone statues), Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo (15th-century church), Santuario Madonna dei Cuori (mid-20th-century church). The historic downtown houses the mansions Villa Bertetti, Villa Trombini, Villa Bettini, Villa Adami, Villa Gritti, as well as Palazzo Loredan (Canda's Town Hall).
The town is also popular for its annual festivals, including Brusavecia (in January), Piazza Carnevale (allegorical floats, mask parade, group dancing, games), Sagra di Sant'Antonio (in June, food stands, stage for live band music, evening market), Teatro in Villa (in July-August, at Villa Nani Mocenigo's park), Festa del Gnocco di patate (in September, food-themed, dedicated to the town's patron saint San Michele Arcangelo), Festival della Letteratura Recitata (in September, held at Villa Nani Mocenigo's park), Festival del Mistero (in November, theatrical events).
