Dangriga (fka Stann Creek Town) is on Belize's Caribbean coast and at the North Stann Creek River's mouth. Dangriga is the Stann-Creek District's capital. The town has population around 10,000 and is considered Belize's "culture capital" (Garifuna people/Garinagu) and the gateway to Mayflower Bocawina National Park and Tobacco Caye and Royal Belize Island (private). The Park is accessed via Southern Highway (connecting Dangriga with Punta Gorda).

As cruise port, Dangriga was included in the 2021 schedule of the company UnCruise Adventures. Next table shows the 7-night "Belize and Guatemala Wonders, Rivers, Reefs and Cultures Cruise" itinerary leaving roundtrip from Belize's capital and operated by the ship Safari Voyager. Prices started from USD 5600 per person with double occupancy.
