The museum is separate from the historic Bauhaus Building. It is approximately 0.8 km (0.5 mi) from Dessau Hauptbahnhof, making it a practical independent destination after a transfer into town. For a short call, choose either the museum or the building-and-houses combination.

Kornhaus and Georgium Park

For a quieter outdoor visit, combine the Kornhaus’s Elbe views with a walk in Georgium Park. 5. Masters’ Houses ensemble: continue along Ebertallee to see the houses associated with Feininger, Schlemmer, Kandinsky and Klee; enter the visitor areas if time and tickets permit.
