Balconies average 65 ft² (6 m²). The largest accommodation is the Royal Suite at 1360 ft² (126 m²) plus a 315 ft² (29 m²) terrace.

The ship has 33 handicap-accessible staterooms (ADA-certified, wheelchair-accessible) distributed as follows: Junior Suite (2), Balcony (8), Oceanview (7), Promenade (3), and Inside (13). There are 38 cabin categories in total, including the "Guaranteed" options (W-Suite, X-Balcony, Y-Oceanview, Z-Inside).

Below is a review of Freedom of the Seas staterooms, highlighting amenities, furniture, and services.

All Suites feature a king-size bed, spacious bathroom (whirlpool tub and separate shower), vanity area, walk-in closet, and a large living space with queen-size sofa bed, dining area, pantry, wet bar, kitchen, and dining table. Each Suite has a private balcony with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, whirlpool tub, and sun loungers. Guests in all Suites (except Junior and Oceanview Suites) enjoy exclusive perks such as Concierge Service, 24-hour Concierge Lounge access, continental breakfast, hors d'oeuvres, CD/DVD library, private parties, and priority bookings (Spa/Salon, RCI excursions, dining).

The Royal Suite includes two separate bedrooms (each with two twin beds convertible to a queen), plus a room with bunk beds for additional guests. Extra amenities include a media center (surround sound, large HDTV, stereo, CD/DVD player) and a baby grand piano.

Family Suites have two separate bedrooms (each with twin beds convertible to a queen), an additional room with bunk beds, a living room (with vanity, double sofa bed, dining table), and two bathrooms (both with showers, one with a bathtub).

All Balcony staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading to a private step-out verandah.

VP-Panoramic Suites (bow-facing, Deck 12/Spa Deck) include two single beds convertible to a Royal King, double sofa bed, separate sleeping area with curtain-divided bunk beds, and two bathrooms (one full, one half). These suites are distinguished by floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows (76 in high x 100-320 in wide / 1.9 m high x 2.5-8 m wide) offering sweeping forward-facing views. They provide top-deck vistas at a lower price than Balcony cabins.

1K-Family Oceanview cabins (former FO, Deck 12) are also bow-facing, designed for families with children. Accommodating up to six guests, they are a cost-effective alternative to connecting cabins. Each features two large round picture windows, a separate bedroom with Pullman beds, a spacious living area (double sofa bed and twin beds convertible), minibar, extra seating and closet space, and a bathroom with shower.

All Oceanview cabins are fitted with a 24-inch (61 cm) round picture window.

Promenade View staterooms (PR category) are inside cabins with bowed windows overlooking the Royal Promenade atrium. These windows add interior space and provide a unique vantage point for viewing Promenade parades and activities. Guests are advised to close curtains at night as opposite cabins also face the Promenade.

All Freedom of the Seas staterooms include two twin beds (convertible to Queen or Royal King in Suites), ample closet/drawer space, private bathroom (shower, hairdryer, bath products), sitting area (desk, vanity, sofa/convertible), smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet, on-demand movies), individual air conditioning, direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (closet), radio, minibar, Internet access, and 24-hour room service (complimentary between 5 am-12 midnight).

Some cabins feature a sofa bed or Pullman bunk beds to accommodate a 3rd/4th guest. Twin beds measure 36 x 82 inches (90 x 210 cm).

In-cabin babysitting is available for up to four children per cabin, at US$19 per child per hour. Guests can also borrow movies, toys, and games tailored for children with autism.

RCI’s new Wi-Fi service costs US$15 per device per day, with a 50% discount for a second device. The service offers shipwide coverage with high-speed connectivity suitable for streaming.

Note: During the 2020 drydock, the PS-Presidential Suite (aft, Deck 6) was replaced with four Junior Suites. Royal Caribbean’s Presidential Suites (now Vista Suites, category VS) are 4-bedroom accommodations with two master bedrooms (each with twin beds convertible to queen, walk-in closet, large bathroom with bathtub/shower), two guest bedrooms (each with convertible twin beds and two Pullman bunks), an additional bathroom with shower, and a spacious living area (sofa bed, dining table). Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open onto a large veranda with loungers, dining area, whirlpool, and bar.
