Star Of The Seas cabins and suites

Of all Star of the Seas staterooms (2,805 total across 39 categories), approximately 70% feature balconies, and over 50% are new to Royal Caribbean. There are 50 wheelchair-accessible cabins.

In addition to the 22 elevators (located in the forward and aft atriums) and all staircases, an escalator connects decks 2, 4, and 5.

All Star OTS cabins include standard complimentary amenities: two twin beds (convertible to a Royal King), ample closet and drawer space, en-suite bathroom (WC-toilet, shower, single-sink vanity, hairdryer, bath products), sitting area (mirrored desk/vanity, drawers, couch/convertible sofa bed), smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet access, on-demand movies), direct-dial phone, electronic safe (in the closet), lifejackets (in the closet), minibar, 24-hour room service (5 am–12 am, complimentary), European and US/UK power outlets, USB charging ports, individual air-conditioning, and mood lighting.

Star OTS’ air-conditioning system features computer-controlled climate management in all staterooms to improve energy efficiency when cabins are unoccupied. When guests leave the ship (detected via SeaPass card scanning during debarkation), the system switches to eco mode. Upon reboarding and scanning their SeaPass cards, the system automatically restores the previous temperature settings.

All balcony staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening onto a private step-out veranda.

Star OTS introduces several new Royal Caribbean cabin categories, including Inside Plus, Panoramic Ocean View (redesigned for both cabins and suites), Infinite Balcony, Family Infinite Balcony, Surfside Family Suite, Sky Junior Suite, Sunset Suite, Sunset Corner Suite, Icon Loft Suite, and the Ultimate Family Townhouse.

"Panoramic Ocean View" cabins and suites are located in the AquaDome Neighborhood and feature floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows.

"Infinite Balcony" cabins are similar to French Balcony staterooms, featuring drop-down panoramic windows that enclose the terrace. These convertible accommodations transform the veranda into an indoor space (separated by accordion doors) at the push of a button. This concept debuted on Celebrity Cruises' EDGE-class ships.

"Family Infinite Balcony" cabins accommodate up to 6 guests and include split bathrooms, a separate children’s bedroom (with bunk beds), and an infinite balcony.

"Surfside Family Suite," located in the Surfside Neighborhood, accommodates up to 4 guests and features a separate kids’ bedroom (convertible into a lounge), with Royal Suite Class perks included.

"Sunset Corner Suite" (a fleet first) consists of aft-facing staterooms (stern-located) featuring large wraparound terraces.

The "Ultimate Family Townhouse" is a three-level suite designed for families, offering private access to the Surfside Neighborhood, an indoor dry slide, media/cinema room, karaoke room, and a large terrace.

The three-deck Suite Neighborhood houses the top-tier accommodations. It includes an exclusive two-deck sundeck and an expanded Coastal Kitchen (suite-only restaurant across two levels). There is also an exclusive sundeck (accessible only to Star Class and Sky Class suites) with its own swimming pool and outdoor Jacuzzi, plus a suite-only casual dining venue (The Grove) serving Mediterranean cuisine.

Suite categories (from highest to lowest) include Family Townhouse, Royal Loft, Icon Loft, Owner’s, Infinite Grand, Grand, Sunset Corner, Surfside Family, Sunset, Junior, and Panoramic (windowed).

ICON-class ships also feature a newly designed (patented) crew cabin concept.

Star Class staterooms include perks such as Royal Genie Service, exclusive access (Suite Lounge, Suite Sun Deck, Coastal Kitchen Restaurant, The Grove Restaurant), and complimentary amenities (gratuities, Internet, specialty dining, Deluxe Beverage Package, Refreshment Package, in-room minibar stocked with beverages and bottled water, laundry and pressing services), as well as daily replenished bottled water, expedited embarkation and debarkation, reserved seating in select venues, and priority access to onboard activities.

Sky Class staterooms include Concierge Service, exclusive access (Coastal Kitchen, The Grove, Suite Lounge, Suite Sun Deck), complimentary Internet, and priority embarkation, debarkation, and dining reservations.

Sea Class staterooms guests have access to dining at Coastal Kitchen.

All Sea, Sky, and Star Class suites are equipped with Lavazza coffee machines. Sky and Star Class staterooms in the Suite Neighborhood also enjoy exclusive access to The Grove Suite Sun Deck (expanded pool deck).
