Liberty of the Seas staterooms (1839 total) include 122 Suites, 724 Balcony, 262 Oceanview, 168 Promenade View, and 563 Inside. Most cabins measure 150-190 ft² (14-18 m²), with balconies averaging 65 ft² (6 m²). The largest is the Vista Suite at 1210 ft² (112 m²) with an additional 805 ft² (75 m²) terrace.

The ship has 32 handicap-accessible (ADA-certified, wheelchair-friendly) staterooms across several categories: Junior Suite (2), Balcony (8), Oceanview (6), Promenade (3), and Inside (13). There are 38 cabin categories in total, including the "Guaranteed" categories (W-Suite, X-Balcony, Y-Oceanview, Z-Inside).

The ship’s largest accommodation is the PS-Presidential Suite (aft on Deck 6), now classified as VS-Vista Suite. This 4-Bedroom Suite includes 2 master bedrooms (each with 2 twin beds convertible to a king), walk-in closet, large bathroom (bathtub and shower), plus 2 guest bedrooms (each with 2 convertible twin beds and 2 upper Pullman/bunk beds), a dresser, and a bathroom with shower. The expansive living area has a sofa bed and dining area, while floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead to a large private terrace with loungers, dining table, whirlpool, and bar.

All Suites feature a king-size bed, large bathroom (whirlpool bathtub and separate shower), vanity area, walk-in closet, and spacious living area (queen-size sofabed, dining area/pantry, wet bar, kitchen, dining table). Private balconies include sliding floor-to-ceiling doors, whirlpool bathtub, and loungers. Suite passengers (excluding Junior and Oceanview Suites) enjoy bonus perks such as Concierge Service with 24-hour Concierge Lounge access (continental breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, CD/DVD library, private party arrangements) and priority services for spa, shore excursions, and dining reservations.

Royal Suites feature 2 separate bedrooms (each with convertible twin beds), plus an additional room with bunk beds for a 3rd/4th guest. Amenities include a media center (surround sound, large HDTV, stereo, CD/DVD player) and a baby grand piano.

Family Suites have 2 separate bedrooms (each with convertible twin beds), another room with bunk beds, a living room (vanity, double sofabed, dining table), and 2 bathrooms (both with showers, one with bathtub).

All Balcony staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a private verandah.

VP-Panoramic Suites (bow-facing on Deck 12/Spa Deck) include 2 lower beds (convertible to a Royal King), a double sofabed, a curtained-off sleeping area with bunk beds, 2 bathrooms (1 full, 1 half), and wraparound floor-to-ceiling bow-facing windows (76 in high x 100-320 in wide / 1.9 m high x 2.5-8 m wide). These offer spectacular unobstructed views at a lower price than Balcony cabins.

1K-Family Oceanview (formerly FO/Deck 12) are bow-facing cabins ideal for families with children, accommodating up to 6 guests. Each includes 2 large round picture windows, a separate bedroom (with Pullman bunk beds), a spacious living area (double sofabed, 2 convertible twin beds), minibar, additional seating and storage, and a bathroom with WC and shower.

All Oceanview cabins feature a round Picture Window (24 in / 61 cm).

Atrium Promenade staterooms (category PR-Promenade View) are unique inside cabins with bowed windows overlooking the Royal Promenade. The window adds extra space and provides a great vantage point to watch parades and activities. Curtains should be kept closed at night for privacy as other Promenade cabins face directly opposite.

All Liberty of the Seas cabins include 2 twin beds (convertible to Queen or Royal King in Suites), ample closet and drawer space, private bathroom (shower, hairdryer, bath products), sitting area (desk, drawers, vanity, sofa/convertible), smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet, on-demand movies), air-conditioning, direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (in closet), radio, minibar, Internet access, and complimentary 24-hour room service (5 am–midnight).

Some cabins feature a sofabed or Pullman bunk beds for 3rd/4th guests. Twin bed size is 36 x 82 in (90 x 210 cm).

In-cabin babysitting is available for a fee (US$19 per child per hour), up to 4 children per stateroom. Guests may also borrow movies, toys, and games suitable for children with autism.

RCI’s high-speed shipwide Wi-Fi costs US$15 per device per day, with a 50% discount for a second device. The connection is fast enough for streaming.
