MSC Armonia deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
MSC Armonia deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by MSC Cruises deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the MSC Armonia cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on MSC Armonia staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MSC Armonia (2001-built / 2014-stretched, last refurbished in 2019) is the first — and oldest — of the Lirica-class MSC cruise ships, together with Lirica, Opera and Sinfonia. The ship joined the MSC fleet in 2004. Previously, she operated as “MS European Vision” under Festival Cruises (1992-founded, 2004-defunct).
MSC Armonia’s deck plan shows a total of 975 staterooms for 1950 passengers (maximum capacity 2340), served by 770 crew. Before the stretching project, the ship had 777 cabins for 1554 passengers (max 2223). The vessel has 13 decks (9 passenger-accessible, 5 with cabins), 4 restaurants, 10 lounges and bars, 2 swimming pools, 2 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpools) and 9 elevators.
MSC Armonia’s decks are named after precious gemstones.
MSC Armonia deckplan changes – 2014 refurbishment review
The ship underwent a major refurbishment and stretching in 2014 (drydock between August 31 and November 17), during which she was lengthened by 25 m / 82 ft. The project brought substantial changes to the deck plan. Key upgrades included:
- All staterooms were renovated and received upgraded amenities.
- 193 new passenger cabins were added (on Decks 9–Ametista, 10–Tormalina, 12–Zaffiro), along with 59 new crew cabins.
- New cabin categories were introduced.
- A new Aqua Park (Spray Park, featuring waterfalls and interactive slides) was installed.
- All boutique shops received updated designs, and a new luxury perfumes shop was added.
- Supervised kids’ clubs and play areas were upgraded with new equipment and toys from Chicco and LEGO.

The 10-week 2014 drydock project was valued at nearly EUR 50 million.
