MSC World Europa (2022-built) is the first WORLD-class vessel of MSC Cruises and the fleet’s largest and most innovative ship to date. Three additional vessels of the same class (sisterships) are scheduled for delivery in 2025 (MSC World America), 2026 (MSC World Asia), and 2027 (TBN).
The MSC World Europa deck plan shows 2633 staterooms accommodating 5240 passengers (max capacity 6782) and served by 2138 crew. The vessel has 20 decks (16 accessible to passengers, 12 with cabins), 13 dining venues and food bars (including 3 main dining rooms and 6 specialty restaurants), 21 lounges and bars, 7 swimming pools, 13 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpools/hot tubs, including 4 cantilevered), and 39 elevators (11 of them Panoramic/glass-walled and glass-floored lifts in the Atrium).
MSC World Europa’s decks are named after European capital cities: Berlin (Germany), Rome (Italy), London (UK), Madrid (Spain), Dublin (Ireland), Vienna (Austria), Stockholm (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark), Prague (Czechia), Brussels (Belgium), Bern (Switzerland), Athens (Greece), Paris (France), Lisbon (Portugal), and Valletta (Malta).
This unique vessel offers more than 40,000 m2 (430,000+ ft2) of public space, 15,000 m2 (161,000 ft2) of outdoor deck areas, and a 3440 m2 (37,000 ft2) main pool deck. The children’s complex, designed by Lego & Chicco, spans over 760 m2 (8200 ft2) and includes seven rooms dedicated to different age groups. Additional features include the Zen District (adults-only wellness and relaxation area), the Family District (with 10 children’s facilities including pools, clubs, and playgrounds), the Family Sundeck (kids-friendly sunbathing space), the Aquapark (with outdoor playgrounds, splash pools, water cannons, and three waterslides offering virtual reality experiences), and the Teens Sundeck (featuring a swimming pool and a spa pool).
