Main features of MSC’s digitalization program include:
- Facial recognition technology and Samsung interactive smart bracelets.
- Digital Concierge app – real-time, 24-hour booking platform for onboard services, restaurants, and shore excursions, connecting guests directly with MSC staff.
- Capture – virtual reality tool for itinerary previews, creating personal photo galleries, and online sharing.
- Organizer – mobile cruise-planning tool with detailed information and options for pre-booking (tours, theater seats, dining) and real-time onboard planning.
- Navigation – interactive ship map (wayfinder) providing directions, schedules, opening hours, and real-time kids’ monitoring via bracelets.
