MSC Grandiosa (2019-built, last refurbished in November 2024) is the first MERAVIGLIA PLUS-class vessel in the MSC Cruises fleet, with sisterships MSC Virtuosa (2021) and MSC Euribia (2023).
MSC Grandiosa’s deck plan shows 2421 staterooms for 4888 passengers (maximum capacity 6334), served by 1704 crew. The ship has 18 decks (15 accessible to passengers, 11 with cabins), 14 restaurants and food bars (including five main dining rooms and five specialty venues), 21 lounges and bars, four swimming pools (one with sliding roof and one exclusively for MSC Yacht Club), nine Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), and 32 elevators (19 passenger lifts, including one MSC Yacht Club lift and two panoramic/glass-walled lifts in the Atrium).
MSC Grandiosa’s decks are named after some of the world’s most famous painters.

- Dining options include “Butcher’s Cut” (American steakhouse), a new pastry bar/creperie by chef Jean-Philippe Maury, the new “Kaito Sushi” restaurant, the new “Kaito Teppanyaki” restaurant, and a buffet restaurant open 20 hours per day.
- The four swimming pools include the 25-m / 80-ft Atmosphere Pool, the 10-m / 33-ft indoor Bamboo Pool, and the aft Horizon Pool – the most expansive open-deck area at sea.
- Weekly, 12 “Cirque du Soleil” acrobatic shows are performed in the dedicated Carousel Lounge. Located aft on Deck 7 (Promenade), the venue accommodates 120 guests for dinner plus an additional 290 seats reserved for drinks.
- The Balinese Spa complex spans 1100 m² (11,840 ft²).
Each Meraviglia and Meraviglia Plus-class ship is equipped with 114 interactive screens, 244 information screens, 31 virtual screens, 81 video wall monitors, 3050 iBeacons, 700 wireless access points (WAPs), and 1200 CCTV cameras.
