Review of MSC Meraviglia deck 18 (Piramids-Kids-Teens)

  • MSC YACHT CLUB Restaurant (forward) is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A different menu is offered every day, reflecting the region the ship is sailing through. There are no fixed times.
  • Sliding Roof (over the Solarium pool area)
  • Sky Lounge & Bar is designed in chrome and stylish black and white, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that run round the semi-circular spot, overlooking ship's main pool deck. It is ideal for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail. A guitarist, pianist and singer entertain guests with jazz tunes. The menu includes "molecular" cocktails, and on one side, travelers will find a cigar room.

  • Doremi Lab is a room specially dedicated to the kids' club that is given over to educational programming and includes a 3D printer and computers as well as foosball, board games and VR gaming.
  • Sportplex / Team Sport Area (sports court, upper level)
  • Baby Club Chicco (nursery / babysitting facility) is open for babies from 6 to 36 months, sponsored by Italian babywear company Chicco. There is a lot of free baby stuff, such as diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, even a selection of strollers and cots, which parents can borrow. The nursery has a TV, books and soft play area with age-appropriate toys. There is also a separate room with cots and a bathroom. Activities include mini Olympic games and a cooking class. "Baby Time" allows parents to play with kids, while "Baby Care" allows them to leave their children (aged from 1 year old, times vary by day, but roughly it takes place for 90 minutes in the morning, afternoon and evening. Parents must do feeding, but the staff change nappies. Open 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m-6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
  • Mini Club Lego is for children aged 3 to 6-year-olds, that is in bright LEGO colors with a lot of bricks and Duplo. There is also a cinema, foosball, books, plenty of crayons, pens, and age-appropriate toys. Programming includes sports, arts and crafts, treasure hunt, musical chairs, organized games, dressing up. Kids even get a chance to try cooking in the TV Studio.
  • Juniors Club Lego is for the 7 to 11-year-olds with a big play pit full of bricks, age-appropriate toys and games, a cinema and foosball. They also do games, sports, arts and crafts. A bit more emphasis is put on educational activities, and there is an everyday session in the Doremi Lab. The 2 rooms are connected and when opened up create a large space.
  • Young Club is for the 12 to 14-year-olds (the "tweens") and operates on a differen basis from the younger kids' clubs. Programming is offered all day when at sea but only in the afternoon when in port. Facilities include table tennis, foosball, PS4, some double seats in which kids can lounge back to play video games from a TV placed in the ceiling, as well as traditional board games. The most innovative technology asset is a multi-media table allowing kids to post messages and pictures which then get screened on the club's walls. Programming includes generation games, lip sync battles, sports tournaments in the Sportplex. There is an EUR 10 per kid, per hour charge for use of the club from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., free otherwise.
  • Doremi Studio is similar to a theater or a TV studio, with a big screen and tiered seating. It is dedicated to family time, with a dance floor and interactive games.
  • Teen Club is aimed at 15- to 17-year-olds. The private room is adjacent to the kids' club. It is a circular lounge with big dance floor, plenty of chairs, large TV screens, beanbags and video games such as PS4, VR, Nintendo Switch. The programming includes generation games, sports and dancing competitions including ping pong and mini-golf.

  • Horizon Bar serves Horizon Amphitheater & Pool and gets busy at night as it is tiny but serves a large space. 
  • Attic Club is Horizon Bar's inside area, also encompassing a dance floor that plays techno music. The club overlooks the Seaplex.

  • Cruise cabins from 18001 to 18019, all of which are Yacht Club DeLuxe suites.
