Viking Mira deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Viking Mira deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Viking Ocean (Viking Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Viking Mira cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Viking Mira staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MV Viking Mira (2026-built) is the 13th vessel (and the 3rd in the second 6-ship series) in a fleet of 16 identical ships built for Viking OCEAN Cruises between 2015 and 2028 (fleet). Her design was specifically developed for Viking’s “small ship travel” all-inclusive concept, combining the excursions-inclusive river cruising experience with an “affordable luxury” ocean vacation product. By design (a modified and expanded version), Mira’s sisterships include Viking Vela (2024), Viking Vesta (2025), Viking Libra (2026), Viking Astrea (2027), and Viking Lyra (2028).
Viking Mira’s deck plan includes a total of 499 staterooms for 998 passengers, served by 470 crew and staff. She has 10 decks (6 with passenger cabins), 2 swimming pools (1 infinity pool and 1 covered with a retractable roof), 2 outdoor Jacuzzis (hot tubs), and 6 elevators (including 2 panoramic glass lifts). This is an adults-only ship (minimum age requirement 16), with no dedicated children’s facilities or programs.
On all cabin decks, there is a launderette (laundry room) with complimentary self-service facilities. These include ironing boards, washers, and dryers, with detergent also provided free of charge.
Like her sisterships, Viking Mira offers an intimate, boutique hotel-style atmosphere, featuring signature Scandinavian-inspired decor, luxury fabrics, spacious lounges with elegant leather furnishings, gourmet cuisine, and a curated art collection. As with all Viking OCEAN ships, she operates longer itineraries (with relatively few sea days), offers a wide range of daily onboard activities, includes multiple overnight port stays, and provides a selection of premium shore excursions (with at least one complimentary excursion in each port of call). Unlike most modern cruise ships, Viking OCEAN vessels do not feature a casino.
Viking OCEAN ships are new-generation cruise vessels incorporating some of the industry’s most advanced maritime technologies. These include energy-efficient hybrid propulsion systems (diesel generators combined with gas turbines), optimized hull forms, and bulbous bows designed for maximum fuel efficiency. In addition, all ships in the fleet feature solar panels (installed on the Magradome pool cover), further reducing exhaust emissions and environmental impact.
