Viking Saturn deck plans

MV Viking Saturn (built in 2023, formerly Viking Tellus) is the 10th and final vessel in a 10-ship series of identical cruise ships built for Viking OCEAN between 2015 and 2027 (fleet). The vessel’s design was specifically developed for Viking’s “small ship travel” all-inclusive concept, combining the excursions-inclusive river cruising experience with an affordable luxury ocean product.

Viking Saturn’s deck plan includes a total of 464 staterooms for 928 passengers (served by 470 crew and staff), 10 decks (6 of which accommodate passenger cabins), 2 swimming pools (one infinity pool and one covered with a retractable roof), 2 Jacuzzi hot tubs, and 6 elevators (2 of which are panoramic with glass walls). The ship is adults-only (minimum age requirement 16) and does not offer dedicated children’s facilities or programs.

All cabin decks feature a self-service launderette (complimentary), equipped with ironing boards, washers, dryers, and detergent.

Like her sister ships, Viking Saturn offers an intimate, boutique hotel-style atmosphere with signature Scandinavian decor, premium fabrics, spacious lounges with elegant leather furnishings, gourmet cuisine, and a curated art collection. Unlike most modern cruise ships, Viking OCEAN vessels do not include a casino.

Viking OCEAN ships incorporate advanced maritime technologies, including energy-efficient hybrid propulsion systems (diesel generators and gas turbines), optimized hull design with bulbous bows for improved fuel efficiency, and solar panels (installed on the Magradome pool cover) to reduce emissions.
