Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities

Viking Sea deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2021-2022-2023 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Viking Ocean (Viking Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the Viking Sea cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Viking Sea staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

MV Viking Sea (2016-built) is the second in a series of all ten identical Viking Ocean Cruises ships, with fleetmates Star (2015), Sky (2017), Sun (2017), Orion (2018), Jupiter (2019), Tellus and Venus (2021), Neptune and Mars (2022). Vessel design was specifically developed for Viking Ocean's revolutionary "small ship travel" all-inclusive vacation concept that combines the "excursions-inclusive river cruising" experience with "affordable luxury" cruise vacation product.

Viking Sea cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 465 staterooms for 930 passengers served by 470 crew/staff, 9 passenger decks, 2 swimming pools (one infinity pool, one with retractable roof), 2 Jacuzzi hot tubs, 6 elevators (2 of which are panoramic /with glass walls). This is an adults-only ship (min age requirement 16 yo) without dedicated kids facilities or programs.

On all Viking Sea decks with cabins, there is a launderette (free of charge passenger-use laundromats). These are self-service laundry rooms equipped with ironing boards, washers and dryers. Detergent is provided (also complimentary).

The Viking Ocean’s Sea ship and her sisters are new generation cruise liners implementing some of the industry’s top maritime technologies. Among those are the energy-saving hybrid engines (diesel generators and gas turbines), optimized hulls and bulbous bows for max fuel efficiency. All Viking Cruises ocean ships as design also feature the common for the line’s longships solar panels (installed on the Magradome pool cover) additionally minimizing the vessel’s exhaust pollution.

Like its sister-ships, Viking Sea offers an intimate boutique hotel-like feel with its signature decor (Scandinavian-themed), luxury fabrics, spacious lounges with classy leather furniture, gourmet cuisine offers, unique art collection (incl display dedicated on Viking cruise line’s history). Also like all Viking Ocean ships, Sea offers longer cruise itineraries (with few sea days), plenty of daily scheduled organized onboard activities, several overnight ports stay, a nice selection of tours (offered complimentary in each port of call). Unlike most new cruise ships, none of the Viking Ocean liners has gambling casino (lounge and bar).
