Viking Jupiter deck plans

Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities

Viking Jupiter deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Viking Ocean (Viking Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the Viking Jupiter cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Viking Jupiter staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

MV Viking Jupiter (built in 2019, last refurbished in November 2023) is the sixth vessel in a 10-ship series of identical cruise ships built for Viking OCEAN between 2015 and 2027 (fleet). The vessel’s design was specifically developed for Viking’s "small ship travel" all-inclusive concept, combining the excursions-inclusive river cruising experience with an affordable luxury ocean cruise product.

Viking Jupiter’s deck plan includes a total of 464 staterooms for 928 passengers, served by 470 crew and staff, across 10 decks (6 with passenger cabins). Facilities include 2 swimming pools (1 infinity pool and 1 with a retractable roof), 2 Jacuzzi hot tubs, and 6 elevators (2 panoramic with glass walls). This is an adults-only ship (minimum age requirement 16), with no dedicated children’s facilities or programs.

On all cabin decks, there is a launderette (complimentary self-service laundry), equipped with ironing boards, washers, and dryers. Detergent is also provided free of charge.

Two Viking OCEAN ships (Orion and Jupiter) feature an onboard planetarium, similar to the one on Cunard’s liner RMS Queen Mary 2. Named "Explorers' Dome", this theater-style venue is circular, with a capacity of 26 seats, and is located forward on Deck 8, facing the Explorers Lounge. It uses advanced projection technology to display constellations and other space-related 3D visuals on its domed ceiling.

Like her sisterships, Viking Jupiter offers an intimate, boutique hotel-style ambiance, with signature Scandinavian decor, luxury fabrics, spacious lounges with elegant leather furnishings, gourmet cuisine, and a curated art collection. Unlike most modern cruise ships, Viking OCEAN vessels do not feature a casino.

Viking OCEAN ships incorporate some of the industry’s most advanced maritime technologies, including energy-efficient hybrid propulsion systems (diesel generators and gas turbines), optimized hull design, and bulbous bows for improved fuel efficiency. The design also includes solar panels (installed on the Magradome pool cover), further reducing exhaust emissions.
