Viking Sky deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Viking Sky deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Viking Ocean (Viking Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Viking Sky cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Viking Sky staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MV Viking Sky (2017-built) is the third in a 10-ship series of identical cruise vessels built for Viking OCEAN between 2015 and 2027 (fleet). The vessel’s design was specifically developed for Viking’s “small ship travel” all-inclusive concept, combining the excursions-inclusive river cruising experience with an “affordable luxury” ocean vacation product.
Viking Sky’s deck plan features a total of 464 staterooms for 928 passengers, served by 470 crew and staff, across 10 decks (6 of which have passenger cabins). The ship has 2 swimming pools (1 infinity pool and 1 covered pool with a retractable roof), 2 Jacuzzi hot tubs, and 6 elevators (2 of which are panoramic, with glass walls). This is an adults-only ship (minimum age requirement 16 years) with no dedicated children’s facilities or programs.
On all Viking Sky decks with cabins, there is a launderette (complimentary passenger-use laundromat). These self-service laundry rooms are equipped with ironing boards, washers, and dryers, with detergent provided free of charge.
Like her sisterships, Viking Sky offers an intimate, boutique hotel-style atmosphere, featuring signature Scandinavian-themed decor, luxury fabrics, spacious lounges with elegant leather furnishings, gourmet cuisine, and a curated art collection. Unlike most modern cruise ships, Viking OCEAN vessels do not feature a casino (no gambling lounge or bar).
Viking OCEAN ships incorporate some of the industry’s most advanced maritime technologies, including energy-efficient hybrid engines (diesel generators combined with gas turbines), optimized hull designs, and bulbous bows for maximum fuel efficiency. The ship’s design also includes solar panels (installed on the Magradome pool cover), further reducing exhaust emissions.
