MSC Cruises announced that its liner MSC Bellissima will be deployed in the Mediterranean for summer 2022 to meet the overwhelming demand.

Gianni Onorato (MSC's CEO) said that as holidaymakers were planning their summer holidays, the company was extremely pleased to see that their "continued and present investments in the experience on board – including improved dining, additional entertainment options as well as extra staff to look after every need of our guests even during the busy summer season – is paying off with high ratings from recurring and new guests." Onorato added that had led them to position one additional ship in the Mediterranean to give their guests even more "choice of ships and itineraries.”

Starting from July 9, MSC Bellissima will sail on 7-night voyages from Valencia and Barcelona/Tarragona, Spain and the ports of Genoa (Milan), Livorno (Florence-Pisa), and Naples in Italy. The itinerary is specially designed with longer stays in port in Valencia, in order to enable guests to visit Madrid as well as Genoa and Barcelona/Tarragona.

This summer and autumn, MSC Cruises will boast a record-breaking 15 liners deployed in the Eastern & Western Mediterranean – the most cruise ships the company has ever had in the region.

Sales for the MSC Bellissima departures are expected to open in the coming days.
