A new 28-day Arctic Circle itinerary leads the 2024 Alaska season sailings of HAL-Holland America Line.

The voyage (on ms Westerdam out of Seattle WA USA) departs on June 9th, 2024, in time for the summer solstice and visits 12 Alaskan ports.

Two 14-day sailings from Vancouver BC Canada visit 8 Alaskan ports, with departures by ms Nieuw Amsterdam on May 5th and ms Noordam on September 15th.

The program also includes 117 week-long journeys with ms Eurodam, ms Koningsdam, and ms Zaandam, also being deployed in the region between April-September 2024.

Each Alaska voyage includes a visit to one or more of the glacier destinations: College Fjord, Dawes Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, and Twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm.

An early booking incentive covers upgrades to premium wi-fi, drinks packages, and crew tips.

The company’s 2024 voyages are now open for booking.

Packages which combine an Alaska sailing with an overland expedition to Denali/the Yukon, are due to be available next month.

Chief commercial officer Beth Bodensteiner said that Holland America was proud of its rich history of bringing the best service at sea to Alaska, and they were excited to reveal details of the 2024 season including a new month-long Arctic Circle itinerary that was the most immersive they had ever offered in the region.

“With six ships serving Alaska and the only cruise line with owned land operations in Denali and the Yukon, no one does Alaska better.”
