Silversea Cruises has successfully completed its 2025 Venetian Society Reunion Voyage, an annual gathering dedicated to members of its loyalty program. The voyage, hosted aboard Silver Spirit from October 17th to 29th, brought together a record number of Venetian Society guests for a 12-day Mediterranean journey between Fusina (Venice) and Athens (Piraeus).
Presided over by Silversea President Bert Hernandez and senior brand executives, the sailing featured eleven ports across Italy, Croatia, and Greece. The program was designed to foster community among returning and new members through a series of curated events, receptions, and shore excursions, along with commemorative amenities exclusive to the Venetian Society. Company leadership noted that these reunion voyages represent a hallmark of Silversea’s ethos—celebrating loyalty, shared curiosity, and discovery through travel.
The voyage commenced in Fusina with a welcoming celebration, complete with live Venetian music and costumed performers. Guests explored Venice’s architectural landmarks, including St. Mark’s Basilica and the Piazza San Marco, before continuing to Trieste and Croatia’s fortified city of Dubrovnik. There, travelers visited the UNESCO-listed Old City and sampled regional wines at a family-run estate in the Konavle Valley.
The itinerary progressed along Italy’s Adriatic coast with a call at Bari before the ship sailed toward Greece. The Greek segment combined well-known destinations such as Santorini and Rhodes with lesser-visited locales including Monemvasia and Souda Bay. In Rhodes, guests participated in an Aegean-themed evening featuring local cuisine, music, and traditional performances beneath the island’s night sky. The voyage concluded in Athens, where participants explored the city’s museums, archaeological sites, and galleries.
Onboard, the Silver Spirit offered a range of enrichment activities and exclusive gatherings. A champagne teatime hosted by the line’s butlers and senior officers was accompanied by live music, while Silversea’s executive team led receptions and private dinners. Two special champagne dinners showcased Duval-Leroy’s Heritage Collection, featuring rare vintages from 1988, 1997, and 2002, alongside the Femme de Champagne cuvées. Each vintage, composed of Grand and Premier Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, reflected Silversea’s focus on refinement and sensory exploration.
Looking ahead, Silversea announced that the next Venetian Society Reunion Voyage will take place aboard Silver Shadow from June 19th to July 1st, 2026. The 12-day roundtrip journey from Nice will visit destinations across Italy, Sicily, Malta, and the French Riviera, continuing the tradition of exclusive receptions, culinary programs, and immersive excursions.
The line also previewed plans for its Nova Class vessels, Silver Nova and Silver Ray, which will operate 50 Mediterranean voyages in 2026. These itineraries will feature shorter, combinable sailings and calls at smaller ports such as Saint-Tropez, Portofino, and Rijeka. With their innovative asymmetrical design, the Nova Class ships are intended to offer uninterrupted coastal views and enhanced destination immersion, extending Silversea’s distinctive approach to Mediterranean exploration.
