Announcing its 2027–2028 season, Princess Cruises unveiled the brand's most extensive and varied itinerary program in the region.

With scheduled visits to 31 ports and departures from 5 homeports, the Caribbean program introduces Celebration Key, an exclusive to Carnival Corporation-owned ships resort on Grand Bahama Island. The first call is set for November 1st, 2026, by the new Star Princess, a vessel that will introduce guests to the destination’s calm lagoons, broad beaches, and leisurely diversions. The project is the largest of its kind ever undertaken by Carnival Corporation.

Cruise bookings are already open, with island experiences available beginning mid-December.

Regal Princess will follow Star Princess into Celebration Key on November 9th, 2026, with further visits scheduled by Caribbean Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, and Sun Princess throughout the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 seasons.

Princess Cruises’ chief commercial officer, Jim Berra, observed that the expanded Caribbean slate would offer more of the balmy destinations and unhurried exploration the line’s guests favor, and he remarked that adding Celebration Key would deepen the ways travelers could enjoy the region.

The 2027–2028 Caribbean schedule stretches from October through April and marks the first time Star Princess and Sun Princess sail these waters together, with Star Princess beginning an inaugural homeport season at Port Canaveral.

Caribbean Princess, Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, Enchanted Princess, Island Princess, Regal Princess, and Sky Princess round out the complement. Across the season, the line charts 187 departures on 43 routes lasting 4 to 15 days. 31 destinations appear on the itineraries, including several designated UNESCO sites, from the fortress atop St. Kitts to the volcanic landscapes of Martinique and the rainforests of Dominica.

Call ports span 22 islands across the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, sailing from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York City, and San Juan. Select voyages extend evenings ashore in the ABC islands, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.

In the Panama Canal, Princess continues a tradition dating to 1967, maintaining its reputation as a seasoned guide through the locks.

For the September 2027 through April 2028 season, the company sets out with 22 departures on five ships—Caribbean Princess, Island Princess, Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, and Star Princess. 9 itineraries trace routes from Fort Lauderdale to both coasts or cross between Los Angeles or Vancouver and Florida. Calls ports are 21, in 9 countries, several of them are UNESCO-listed sites. Homeports for these crossings include Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, Los Angeles, and Vancouver BC, with late-night stays in Cartagena, Aruba, and Puerto Amador drawing out the rhythm of each passage.

At the heart of the expansion lies Celebration Key, shaped to offer a spectrum of shoreside experiences. Its mile-long strand, tranquil lagoons, and broad selection of dining and refreshment points form a harbor of leisure. Distinct areas are laid out for varying pursuits. Paradise Plaza serves as the island’s welcoming concourse, steeped in local charm. Starfish Lagoon, spanning 3.5 acres of freshwater, caters to families with its shallow waters, slides, and cabanas, accompanied by casual island fare. Calypso Lagoon, equal in scale, provides adults with quiet corners and convivial swim-up settings. Pearl Cove Beach Club, reserved for adults and available at a premium, offers an infinity pool, refined dining, and secluded cabanas. Lokono Cove, meanwhile, presents a marketplace devoted to Bahamian craft and artistry, allowing visitors to take a tangible piece of the island with them as they depart.
