RCI-Royal Caribbean International has published its 2027–2028 Caribbean fleet deployment, detailing an expanded 3- to 9-night itineraries across the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean and the Bahamas.
The program begins in April 2027 and extends through the winter and spring of 2028.
RCI's Caribbean fleet encompasses 13 ships operating from multiple homeports, and integrates a network of private and public destinations that form the backbone of the company’s tropical cruising program.
Among the key elements of the schedule are repeated calls at RCI’s private Bahamian island CocoCay and access to newly developed Royal Beach Clubs on Paradise Island (off Nassau) and Mexico's Cozumel. The Cozumel resort is set to open in 2026 and aims to enhance shore-based beach experiences for tourists.
In addition, Royal Caribbean’s broader destination portfolio for 2027 includes the forthcoming Perfect Day Mexico resort/Costa Maya. Debuting in late 2027, it will introduce a new full-service private destination to the RCI’s itinerary framework.
RCI's Caribbean schedule allocates ships to a range of seasonal and year-round services. Allure of the Seas, following its summer operations from Fort Lauderdale, will shift to Miami in late 2027, offering a mix of week-long eastern and western Caribbean voyages with calls including the Dominican Republic port of Samana.
Freedom of the Seas is assigned to Miami with assorted 4-, 5-, 7- and 9-night itineraries visiting destinations such as Aruba, Curacao and CocoCay.
Adventure of the Seas will operate from Port Canaveral (Orlando) across a similar range of cruise lengths with stops at CocoCay, Nassau and Cozumel.
Meanwhile, Enchantment of the Seas will sail from Tampa with western Caribbean sailings, and Grandeur of the Seas is deployed from San Juan for summer southern Caribbean routes and from Colon and Cartagena in the winter for ABC islands itineraries.
RCI's winter 2027–2028 season also sees additional deployments: Legend of the Seas will return to Fort Lauderdale after its European operations, Oasis of the Seas will be based in Fort Lauderdale offering shorter Bahamas and CocoCay getaways, and Explorer of the Seas will provide 6- to 8-night eastern and western Caribbean adventures. Mariner of the Seas is scheduled to operate from New Orleans with a suite of western Caribbean cruises, while Rhapsody of the Seas will run 6- to 8-night voyages from San Juan to destinations including St. Croix, Antigua and St. Kitts.
Bookings for the 2027–2028 Caribbean and Bahamas program opened on December 10th, with Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members granted advance access, and details are available through Royal Caribbean’s reservation channels. The deployment reflects the cruise line’s broadening footprint in the region, leveraging a mix of established ports, enhanced beach-club experiences and new private destination developments within its itinerary mix.
