Carnival Corporation’s North American brands to maintain travel advisors’ commission

Carnival Corporation’s North American brands will maintain travel advisors’ current commission tiers that are earned through 2023.

The 5 brands are CCL-Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard Line, HAL-Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn.

These companies had previously announced commission tiers would be maintained through 2022, so the announcement extends the protection for an additional year.

Commissions are commensurate with sailed booking volumes per cruise line. With the announcement, Carnival's five North American brands are ensuring travel agents will continue to earn a commission at the current rates for the next 2 years without the commission percentage changing.

Arnold Donald (Corporation's President and CEO) said the Carnival Corporation family of great cruise lines stood together in their commitment to support travel advisor partners as the industry progressed to the full return to guest service.

“In honor of the holiday season where we take the opportunity to think about all that we’re grateful for, I speak on behalf of each of our entire team when I say that we truly appreciate our continued partnership with the travel advisor community. We are maintaining commission tiers through 2023 as one more way to thank them for their support over this last year by providing peace of mind and confidence knowing their efforts will be compensated at the rate they have worked so hard to earn.”

CCL-Carnival, Cunard, Holland America, Princess, and Seabourn are members of Carnival Corp.’s World’s Leading Cruise Lines family of 9 cruise brands, which also includes AIDA, Costa, P&O Australia, P&O UK.
