Each of the Amera cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Amera staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MS Amera ship was built in 1988 and between 2002-2019 was operated by Holland America Line under the name "MS Prinsendam". HAL last refurbished the liner in 2016. The liner was initially built for Royal Viking Line (now defunct) and in 1988 bought by Carnival Corporation. The vessel was operated by Cunard Line between 1994-1998 (as “Royal Viking Sun”) and by Seabourn between 1999-2002 (as “Seabourn Sun”).
As a former Royal Viking Line cruise ship, Amera is related to its former fleet mates (Fred Olsen fleet now) Royal Viking Star (Black Watch), Royal Viking Sky (Boudicca), and Royal Viking Sea (Albatros).
Prinsendam cruise ship deck plan has a total of 419 staterooms for 838 passengers (max capacity is 1006 guests), served by 470 crew/staff. The ship has 9 passenger accessible decks, 4 lounges and bars, 2 swimming pools, 3 jacuzzies, 4 elevators.
