Celebrity Millennium deck 12 plan (Sports)

Deck layout and review

Review of Celebrity Millennium deck 12 (Sports)

  • Basketball Court (multi-sports outdoor court) and the aft Sun Deck area are accessible only by stairs.
  • NEW: During the Millennium ship’s next scheduled refurbishment, the aft portion of the sundeck will be transformed into the new “Rooftop Terrace” (the rendering image above). Located behind the sports court and spanning the ship’s width, this is an outdoor lounge area for relaxation during the day. The area consists of 6 “cabana” lounges, many grouped together wicker couches. The decoration features live plants. In the evenings, the Rooftop terrace transforms into night entertainment area featuring an outdoor cinema (a large-size LED screen, surround sound) and comfortable seating area with modular furniture, decorative lighting, waiter service for drinks. Depending on the Celebrity Millennium itineraries, here are offered themed entertainment and food (a la carte priced, served in special vessels). As design and concept, the new Rooftop Terrace is similar to the outdoor relaxation complex “Lawn Club” on Celebrity Cruises biggest ships in the Solstice-class.
  • The Rooftop Terrace’s “night movie” concept is named “A Taste of Film”. This lounge experience is culinary-themed. It gives the Millennium ship’s guests an array of gourmet, chef-designed and themed food samples (a total of 10 tastings) inspired from the movie being watched. The evening’s menu list and descriptions are provided to the guests, as well as a tray with the 10 samples (8 foods and 2 beverages) all labeled with numbers. When guests see the corresponding number on the screen, they taste the sample from the tray. The “A Taste of Film” programming can be found in the ship’s daily newsletter.
  • The Rooftop Terrace’s evening culinary-movie event is a specialty dining option available at extra cost (USD 19 PP). It is hosted here 1 night and on 7-night cruise itineraries only.
