Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Costa Fortuna deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Costa Cruises deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Costa Fortuna cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Costa Fortuna staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Costa Fortuna (built in 2003, last refurbished in 2018) is the fourth of five Destiny-class vessels, alongside Costa Magica and three Carnival Cruise Line ships: Destiny (Sunshine), Triumph (Sunrise), and Victory (Radiance).
The Costa Fortuna deck plan includes a total of 1,354 staterooms accommodating 2,716 passengers (maximum capacity 3,470), served by 1,070 crew members. The ship features 13 passenger decks, each named after a famous Italian travel destination. Onboard amenities include 4 restaurants, 11 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools (one with a retractable glass roof), 6 jacuzzies, and 12 elevators. There are no self-service laundromats onboard.
Throughout the ship, guests will find scale models of the Michelangelo and Raphael, vintage advertising posters from the 1920s, and 26 replica models of Costa’s most iconic ships (both past and present fleet members).
In addition to the ship’s crew and staff, guests are assisted by Pepper robots, a cutting-edge cyborg technology introduced fleetwide in 2016. These humanoid robots greet and guide guests during embarkation and provide ongoing assistance throughout the cruise. They offer information and tips on dining, entertainment, enrichment programs (workshops, scheduled events), casino and shopping deals, and shore excursions. Pepper robots are mobile and multilingual, communicating in English, German, and Italian. They can also interpret human emotions by analyzing facial expressions and tone of voice.
Following the ship’s most recent drydock refurbishment (December 9–15 in Singapore), several new public areas and services were introduced. The 6-day drydock, with a total cost of EUR 8 million, was overseen by the Italian company Artefice Group.
