Abercrombie & Kent has entered into a partnership with Crystal to offer a series of 10 culturally focused sailings in 2027, with details of 5 itineraries now released. Both brands operate under the A&K Travel Group umbrella, and their initial collaboration is scheduled for August, following an inaugural voyage that reportedly sold out shortly after its announcement.

The programme includes four European itineraries and one transatlantic-style voyage along the eastern seaboard of North America in September, sailing from New York to Quebec. Each journey is structured to begin with a 2-night hotel stay ashore and incorporates curated dining events and expert-led lectures. Shore programmes have been developed through Abercrombie & Kent’s network of local specialists, with an emphasis on community engagement and direct cultural interaction.

One of the European offerings, A Voyage Around Italy, is planned as a 12-day journey beginning in Venice on 9 May 2027, with guests staying at the San Clemente Palace before boarding Crystal Symphony. The itinerary extends to ports in Croatia and Malta and includes inland excursions to Emilia-Romagna and Ravenna, alongside culinary experiences in Bologna, Bari, Naples, and Rome.

Another itinerary, The Insider’s Mediterranean, runs for 10 days from May 25th to June 3rd. Following a two-night stay at the Corinthia Palace in Malta, guests embark Crystal Symphony for a route encompassing Malta, Sardinia, Tunisia, and Spain. The programme includes hands-on culinary experiences in Valencia and tastings of regional products such as Mallorca’s herbal liqueur.

Europe’s Culinary Atlantic Coast is scheduled as a 14-day voyage departing Lisbon on June 26th after a hotel stay at the Tivoli Avenida Liberdade. Sailing aboard Crystal Symphony, the itinerary spans Portugal, Spain, France, Guernsey, and England, with shore visits that include the Normandy landing beaches, the coastal landscapes of the Isle of Wight, and the Grande Dune du Pilat in southwestern France.

The North American itinerary begins on September 8th with a stay at The Chatwal in New York, followed by embarkation on Crystal Serenity. Over 14 days, the voyage traces the Atlantic coast through New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec. Planned activities include visits to tidal caves and wetlands, explorations of maritime heritage in Halifax and Sydney, regional seafood experiences on Prince Edward Island, and wildlife observation in the Saguenay region and around Bonaventure Island.

A further European sailing, French Riviera to Lisbon, is scheduled for October aboard Crystal Symphony. This 13-day journey begins in Monte Carlo with a stay at Hotel Metropole and includes exclusive access to sites such as the Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Prince’s Palace. Additional highlights encompass a private visit to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona and an excursion to the marble quarries of Carrara in Italy.

Pricing for the sailings ranges from approximately US$22,200 for The Insider’s Mediterranean to US$27,495 for Europe’s Culinary Atlantic Coast. Accommodation is based on Sapphire Veranda Suites aboard both Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, with solo travellers offered Aquamarine Veranda Suites without a single supplement.
