Cunard has unveiled its 2028 deployment programme, comprising 190 voyages across 36 countries between April 2028 and January 2029. The schedule includes calls at 125 ports worldwide, among them 98 UNESCO World Heritage locations, together with 19 overnight stays and 37 late-evening departures intended to provide extended destination access.
Central to the programme is the planned Four Queens Celebration in Liverpool during May 2028, when all four vessels of the fleet — Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Anne — are scheduled to assemble together for the first time.
The company has also introduced a series of Queen-to-Queen voyages, enabling passengers to combine sailings aboard two, three, or all four vessels within a single extended itinerary. Among these is a 40-night voyage operating from Southampton to Civitavecchia between April 16th and May 26th, 2028, incorporating Norwegian Fjords itineraries, European ports, and participation in the Liverpool fleet gathering.
Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, indicated that the new deployment represented one of the company’s most extensive programmes to date, highlighting both the Liverpool gathering of the four Queens and the breadth of destinations included within the schedule. She further noted that the itineraries had been structured to provide longer stays in port while maintaining the line’s traditional emphasis on formal maritime travel and destination immersion.
The programme includes a broad range of Transatlantic Crossings, European voyages from Southampton, and seasonal sailings to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean.
As the world’s only remaining purpose-built ocean liner, Queen Mary 2 will continue operating regular Atlantic crossings and is scheduled to undertake its first eastbound crossing from New York to Liverpool in connection with the Four Queens Celebration. The vessel’s wider deployment also includes Mediterranean voyages, Canadian itineraries, and Northern Europe sailings. Planned highlights include an overnight stay in Boston during Independence Day celebrations, a return to Gaspé in Canada after an absence of 11 years, and Northern Lights voyages featuring overnight calls in Tromsø.
Queen Victoria will continue to operate roundtrip voyages from Southampton with a deployment concentrated on Northern Europe and Mediterranean itineraries. The programme includes overnight stays in Stockholm, Reykjavík, Oslo, and Copenhagen, together with late-evening Arctic departures intended to coincide with Northern Lights viewing opportunities. Mediterranean voyages will mark the vessel’s return to destinations including Albania, Cyprus, Turkey, and Tunisia, while maiden calls are scheduled at Olbia and Taranto in Italy, as well as Aberdeen in Scotland and Måløy in Norway.
Queen Elizabeth is scheduled to spend the 2028 summer season in the Mediterranean, operating itineraries through Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, and Italy. The deployment includes a maiden call at Bari in the Puglia region and an overnight stay in Istanbul, permitting extended time ashore at the city’s principal historic sites, including Hagia Sophia.
The newest vessel in the fleet, Queen Anne, will commence its season in Scandinavia and Northern Europe before participating in the Liverpool celebrations. Operating from Southampton, the ship will offer alternating seven-night voyages to the Norwegian fjords and Western European ports in France, Spain, and Portugal, including a maiden call at Le Verdon, gateway to the Bordeaux wine region. Longer itineraries include Arctic voyages and extended Canary Islands sailings.
The company also announced revised inclusive fare structures through the introduction of Signature Packages and Premium Signature Packages. These packages combine Wi-Fi access, beverage inclusions, and speciality dining credit within a single upgraded fare category, with the line indicating that the bundled structure is intended to simplify onboard expenditure and provide savings compared with individual onboard purchases.
