Holland America Introduces Grand World Voyage 2021

The “Grand World Voyage” aboard Holland America's liner MS Amsterdam will be circling the globe for 128 days.

The epic world cruise is expected to make 47 visits in more than 20 different countries, visit 35 UNESCO World Heritage sites, and features 9 overnight visits and 10 late departures so passengers can experience more ports of call from day through night.

Sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale Florida, the ship departs on January 4, 2021, and sails into the heart of Amazon River before taking a westerly route through Panama Canal heading to the South Pacific, Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean prior to crossing the Atlantic, arriving back at Port Everglades on May 13.

Highlights of the Grand World Voyage include Amazon River exploration, Panama and Suez canal transits, and calls at a number of ports that are gateways to must-see sites such as the Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Ephesus, and Petra.

Significant time is spent in Asia, with overnights in Tokyo, Kobe-Osaka, Xingang-Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai India.

Passengers can also enjoy overnights at Aqaba and Istanbul, as well as late departures at Hilo, Naha, Da Nang, Colombo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Aqaba, Ashdod, Haifa, and Mykonos.
