Silversea has opened its 2025–2026 Caribbean and Central American program with the departure of Silver Shadow on the first of 33 scheduled voyages, operating through early March 2026.

The line has assigned four of its smaller vessels to these waters, maintaining the brand’s emphasis on measured scale and steady service while offering sailings of 7 to 21 days. The season covers 32 destinations across nineteen countries, including several anchorages that are inaccessible to larger ships, among them Little Bay in Montserrat and Les Saintes in Guadeloupe. Company leadership noted that the itineraries were arranged to provide access to both widely known islands and lesser-visited harbors, with the intention of allowing travelers to examine the region’s culture and daily life in a more detailed manner, aided by the S.A.L.T. program ashore and aboard.

Throughout the season, guests may embark on voyages operated by Silver Ray, Silver Spirit, Silver Shadow, and a single sailing aboard Silver Dawn. Each vessel upholds the line’s established approach to small-ship cruising, with emphasis on quiet interiors, measured service, and consistent attention to detail. Ashore, the geography of the Caribbean and Central America is placed at the forefront, from wide bays to wooded ridges, as well as the varied histories that have shaped the chain of islands and coastal towns across the region.

One of the early sailings, a 10-day voyage aboard Silver Ray from Fort Lauderdale in early December 2025, traces an Eastern Caribbean route calling at San Juan, St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Gustavia on St. Barths, Basseterre in St. Kitts, and Road Town on Tortola. Periods at sea allow time for S.A.L.T. cooking sessions that examine the maritime crossroads reflected in regional cuisine.

A second 10-day round-trip voyage aboard the same vessel departs Fort Lauderdale in late January 2026. This route balances two sea days on either end of the journey with visits to San Juan, St. John, St. Barts, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Spanish Town on Virgin Gorda. The call at Virgin Gorda allows access to a variety of geological and coastal sites, including the pools and boulder formations of Devil’s Bay and the granite structures of The Baths at Spring Bay, as well as elevated viewpoints such as Gorda Peak.

Silver Spirit commences its regional operations with two seven-day circuits from Barbados in December 2025. These voyages span 7 islands in 7 days, including St. Lucia, Martinique, St. Barts, Dominica, Grenada, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Opportunities ashore range from visits to plantations and waterfalls in St. Lucia to tasting sessions and coastal excursions in St. Barths. Activities include biking, semi-submersible observation of marine life, sport fishing, snorkeling, sailing, and sunset sailings around Gustavia Harbor.

Another notable itinerary occurs aboard Silver Shadow on a February 12th–19th, 2026 sailing from Barbados to Saint Maarten. This voyage includes calls at Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Barts, Dominica, and the commune of Trois-Îlets in Martinique. New shore arrangements include a visit to the Trois Rivières distillery, followed by culinary instruction and tastings featuring French-West Indian traditions. Further options include exploration of mangrove areas by kayak or boat, snorkeling at Anse-Dufour, and S.A.L.T. classes featuring French-Creole menus prepared under the guidance of local chefs.

Silver Shadow also undertakes a 7-day roundtrip from Saint Maarten between February 19th and 26th, 2026. Ports of call include St. John’s in Antigua and Barbuda, St. Thomas, Montserrat, St. Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Guadeloupe. The itinerary presents an overview of the island arc, with options such as kayaking, catamaran sailing, reef snorkeling, coastal hikes, and quiet beach landings. In Guadeloupe, more active passengers may hike Mount Morel or cross to Les Saintes Bay for snorkeling among its reefs.
