Fred Olsen Cruise Lines introduced a new voyage to the Balkan Peninsula in 2022 aboard MS Bolette ("MS Amsterdam" when operated by Holland America Line). The ‘Discovering the Balkans’ itinerary is now available to booking.

Fred Olsen’s Bolette (company's flagship) is scheduled to depart from Southampton UK on the 18-night cruise on June 14, 2022, with the trip combining hidden gems with popular destinations, exploring the centuries of civilizations that shaped the area as it is nowadays.

The voyage features a maiden call for Fred. Olsen to the town of Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina to discover the historic village of Pocitelj and reconstructed Ottoman bridge Stari Most. At Kotor, Montenegro, which is another maiden call, passengers can enjoy sailing into the bay, considered one of the world's most beautiful port entrances.
