Costa Firenze (2021-built, scheduled refurbishment in 2024) is Costa Cruises' second ship constructed and designed specifically for the Chinese cruise market. Vista-Class (Fincantieri-built) sisterships include Costa Venezia (2019) and the CCL-Carnival liners Vista (2016), Horizon (2018), Panorama (2019), and Venezia (2019).

The vessel has 14 passenger-accessible decks (12 with cabins), 13 dining venues, 7 bars and lounges, and offers optimized use of both indoor and outdoor spaces, along with several multifunctional areas.

Signature venues and onboard facilities include four fine-dining restaurants (Fiorentina Steak House, Ristorante dei Medici, Ristorante Palazzo Vecchio, Frutti di Mare), Fashion Lounge, Viareggio Lounge, Toscana Lounge, Casino Lounge, Bella Bar, Versilia Pool Bar, Bar del Conte, Dolce Vita (ice cream parlor), Versilia Deck (glass-roof-covered swimming pool deck), Versilia Sunshine Deck (open-air pool deck), Teatro Rosso (show lounge), Photogallery, and a comprehensive Wellness Complex (Spa and Fitness).

The activity (Lido) deck features an aqua park with a waterslide, a high-ropes garden, and a mini-golf course. The Pool Deck is covered by a retractable glass roof. The Beach Club (an adults-only complex) is located beneath the glass roof and includes a swimming pool, waterslides, a rock-climbing wall, and a sports deck. This deck also boasts a giant LED wall for movies and outdoor video entertainment. Dedicated club lounges are available for teens, kids, and toddlers.

Panoramic glass elevators provide access to the outdoor areas. The ship also features a glass-bottom skywalk, an expansive wellness center (Organic Spa and Fitness), the Plaza (lined with bars and shops), the Atrium Lobby Lounge (a central gathering place with a stage for street performances), and a large-capacity Theater (main show lounge).

All cabin decks include self-service launderettes. Each laundry room is equipped with two to three washers, two to three dryers, and one ironing board with an iron. All machines are coinless and operated using Costa Cruiseship cards. While the ship is docked in port, washing machines are unavailable; however, dryers and irons remain operational. Valet laundry service is also available through cabin stewards, with pricing charged per item.
