Each of the Carnival Liberty cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Liberty staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Carnival Liberty (built in 2004, last refurbished in September 2021, Fun Ship 2.0 refurbishment in December 2016) is the fourth of five Conquest-class Carnival cruise ships — along with the Conquest, Freedom, Glory, and Valor. Liberty was the first Carnival ship to feature the line’s "Fun Ship 2.0" upgrades.
The Carnival Liberty cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 1,487 staterooms accommodating 2,978 passengers (maximum capacity 3,574), and served by 1,150 crew members. The ship has 13 passenger decks (8 with cabins), 22 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools (one with a retractable glass roof), 7 outdoor Jacuzzis (large whirlpool hot tubs), and 18 elevators.
The decks with passenger cabins include a total of 52 Suites, 521 Balcony cabins, 337 Oceanview cabins, and 577 Inside cabins. Self-service launderettes (passenger-use laundromats) are available on all cabin decks. Laundry use is charged at $3.25 per washer or dryer load, and $1.50 per detergent/softener box (dispensed from a vending machine). Launderettes are open daily from 6:30 a.m. to midnight and are equipped with 2–3 washers, 2–3 dryers, and 1 ironing board with an iron. Machines accept coins only (Sail & Sign cards are not accepted). While the ship is docked in port, washing machines are unavailable (only dryers and irons may be used). Valet laundry service is available through the cabin steward. Prices per item vary: wash-and-press ($2–$7.50) and dry cleaning ($3–$10.50).
The 2016 drydock refurbishment took place from December 1 to 16.
In October 2021, Carnival Liberty underwent drydock at Navantia Shipyard (Cadiz, Spain) for general maintenance and repainting, during which she received Carnival’s new livery.
