Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Carnival Vista deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Carnival Cruise Line deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Carnival Vista cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Vista staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Carnival Vista (built in 2016, first refurbished in 2019, last refurbished in January 2024) is one of the newest Carnival cruise ships, along with her Vista-class sisterships Carnival Horizon (2018) and Carnival Panorama (2019). The Vista-class (built by Fincantieri) also includes the former Costa Cruises ships Venezia (2019) and Firenze (2020).
The Carnival Vista deck plan shows a total of 1,965 staterooms accommodating 3,934 passengers (maximum capacity 4,716), served by 1,450 crew members. The ship has 14 passenger-accessible decks (13 with cabins), 25 lounges and bars, 10 restaurants/food bars, 3 swimming pools, 6 outdoor Jacuzzis (4 cantilevered), and 16 elevators.
Passenger cabin decks on Carnival Vista include 72 Suites, 880 Balcony cabins, 293 Oceanview cabins, and 678 Inside cabins. Self-service laundromats (launderettes) are available on all cabin decks for an extra charge: $3.25 per washer or dryer load, and $1.50 per detergent/softener box (from vending machines in the laundry rooms). Launderettes are open from 6:30 am to 12 midnight and each is equipped with 2–3 washers, 2–3 dryers, and 1 ironing board with iron. All machines are coinless and operate with Sail & Sign cards only. While the ship is in port, washing machines are not available (only dryers and irons may be used). Valet laundry service is available through the cabin steward. Prices per item range from $2–$7.50 for wash-and-press and $3–$10.50 for dry-cleaning.
The three Vista-class ships—Vista (2016), Horizon (2018), and Panorama (2019)—introduced several fleet-first features, including the "IMAX Theater at Sea" (an 87-seat cinema as part of the Carnival Multiplex), "SkyRide" (an outdoor aerial bicycle ride on a suspended two-track course), and Havana Staterooms (a dedicated cabin complex with a swimming pool, sundeck, lounge, and lanai balconies).
Carnival Vista features all the popular Fun Ship 2.0 amenities and entertainment venues, along with many new additions such as:
- The first IMAX Theater at sea (with two screens) – available at an additional charge
- The first roller coaster at sea (SkyRide)
- High-energy outdoor activities, including an outdoor gym (SkyFitness)
- Carnival Multiplex entertainment complex
- New dining venues and bars, offering more casual dining options

- Expanded kids’ and family-themed spaces

The menu includes pork butt, blue ribbon chicken, sliced smoked beef, gourmet burgers, and traditional sides created by celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Featured sides and sauces include Mac Daddy Mac’n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad, Scratch-Made Slaw, Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey, and Molasses Baked Beans with Bacon and Burnt Ends.
