Review of Icon Of The Seas deck 4 (Cabins-Dining2-Casino-Absolute Zero)

Royal Theater (stage level/mid-level 2 of 3) is the main show lounge spreading over 3 floors (forward on decks 3-4-5). The venue is complimentary and doubles as a cinema and also hosts daily scheduled activities (like trivia games, bingo, enrichment lectures) while in the evenings are presented Broadway-style, grand-scale music, dance and show productions, as well as aerial acrobatic performances. The theater presents nightly 2 grand shows – early (at 8 pm) and late (at 10 pm) to match the assigned dining room sittings. Both are full-length production shows with professional performances (singing, dancing, acting, live band music) by the ship's resident entertainment staff. Signature shows are "Hairspray" (musical comedy / original Broadway production themed on humor and commentaries on early 1960's race relations) and "Flight" (themed on the history of flying). Specifically for Icon OTS was developed "The Wizard of Oz" (2011-created musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber) presented on the ship 3-4 times weekly. Other theater entertainment options are the rotating Headliners (tribute band show) and popular game shows (like "Love and Marriage"). Royal Theater has its own bar for refreshments. During the shows, waiters walk around and provide bar service.

Music Hall (upper level 2 of 2) is a 2-deck-high dance lounge/disco nightclub (for live music shows and dancing daily and DJs in the evenings) served by its own bar. The lower level has pool tables, a large dance floor and a stage for live band performances and tribute acts (including rock band performances) in the evenings. The upper level is for the overlooking balconies. When bands are not performing, a DJ plays Top 40 music selections. This lounge offers a late-night show (titled "Mamma Mia! After Dark") and Rockaoke (karaoke singing accompanied by the band). Another RCI signature night show presented here is called Wink. The experience is defined as a combination of cabaret-style entertainment (by The Royal Theatre staff), premium brand spirits and adults-only night club party life. During the day, Music Hall is generally used for dance classes (including ballroom dancing, rock ‘n’ roll) and comedy acting workshops.

Casino Royale is a large-capacity, Vegas-style gambling casino with slot machines, gaming tables, poker room (for high-stake players), full-service Casino Bar Lounge (seating area with plush chairs and sofas). The Casino staff also provides complimentary gambling lessons. Regularly, here are hosted gambling tournaments. The list of available games includes Video Poker (machines) and table games (Craps, Roulette, Black Jack 21, Caribbean Stud Poker). Guests can pay in cash, with their Sea Pass cards or with their WOWbands. The Casino is a smoking-allowed area but also has a small non-smoking section.

Main Dining Room (mid-level 2 of 3)

Absolute Zero (lower level 1 of 2) is an Ice-Rink Arena. This is RCI fleet's largest ice-skating stadium (complimentary show lounge/theater). Daily, the ice rink is operated with 45-min sessions (max 50 guests per session) for ice-skating, ice games, hockey, demonstrations, adult scavenger hunts. In the evenings, there is a live RCI original production show (professional ice show). Absolute Zero is a complimentary venue (equipment is provided) and reservations are not required. Tickets are free but have to be obtained in advance. Here is also played "Clash for the Crystal City" (laser tag game).

Cruise cabins from 4156 to 4670, which are in types/categories Oceanview (N4-N5, N1), and Interior (V4).

Besides the 22x lifts (elevators positioned in the forward and aft atriums) and all staircases, an escalator interconnects decks 2-4-5.
