The list of deck plan changes following the 2012 drydock refurbishment included:

- new lounges (“Diamond” and “Concierge”)
- new dining options (“Giovanni’s Table” Trattoria/Italian cuisine, “Izumi”/Asian cuisine, “Chops Grille”/steakhouse, “Chef’s Table”/limited-capacity intimate dining, the “Viking Crown” with a new a la carte menu, and the complimentary deli “Park Cafe”)
- Nursery
- upgraded “Centrum” entertainment program (including acrobatic shows)
- “R Bar” (the 1960s-themed venue).
The ship’s most recent drydocking took place in April-May 2022 (for routine maintenance) and was conducted at Damen Shiprepair Brest (in Brest France). The works included hull cleaning and painting, mechanical inspections (machinery, propulsion system, engines), renovation of open-deck areas (sundeck and swimming pools), and recarpeting of all indoor public spaces (including hallways, bars, and lounges).
Rhapsody OTS’s previous drydock was in December 2016.
