The Brilliance of the Seas deck plan includes 1075 staterooms for 2150 passengers (maximum capacity 2580), served by 860 crew members. The ship has 13 decks (12 accessible to passengers, 8 with cabins), 12 lounges and bars, 2 swimming pools, 3 outdoor Jacuzzis (whirlpool hot tubs), and 9 elevators.
On Deck 12, the teen club Optix shares space with RCI’s “Escape Room,” featuring interactive escape-the-room games by Puzzle Break (in partnership with ShowFX Inc). During these complimentary 60–90 minute sessions, 6–12 participants are locked in a room and must work together to solve puzzles, uncover hidden clues, and find the key to escape before time runs out. The current game is titled "A Royal Mystery."
Brilliance OTS Deck Plan Changes – 2013 Refurbishment
The following changes were made to Brilliance of the Seas during her 2013 drydock refurbishment:
- Added the “Diamond Club” lounge on Deck 13.
- Installed a large outdoor movie screen in the main pool area on Lido Deck 11.
- Upgraded all staterooms with flat-screen TVs.
- Introduced several new dining venues: “Park Cafe” (complimentary deli on Deck 11), “Chef’s Table” (private dining experience), “Giovanni’s Table” (Italian trattoria on Deck 6), “Izumi” (Asian/Japanese cuisine on Deck 12), and “Rita’s Cantina” (Mexican cuisine on Deck 11).
- Launched the new “Centrum” entertainment program featuring daily aerial acrobatic shows.
- Replaced the Lobby Bar on Deck 4 with the 1960s-themed “R Bar.”
- Added “Vintages” wine bar on Deck 6.
- Replaced the Scoreboard Bar on Deck 6 with the “King & Country Pub.”
- Relocated the library from Deck 9 to Deck 5.
- Opened the “Royal Babies & Tots” nursery on Deck 12.
