Review of Norwegian Spirit deck 12 (Spa-Lido-Pool)

  • Spinnaker Observation Lounge (has floor windows giving the opportunity to watch the bridge below; the venue serves as a disco night club, has 2 adjoining rooms for private parties)
  • Humidor Cigar Lounge (Smoking Room)
  • During the ship's 2020 refurbishment, Mandara Spa was expanded (doubled in size to ~650 m2 / 7000 ft2). To the ship's wellness complex were added a relaxation lounge (with heated loungers), Jacuzzi Room, Sauna Room, Steam Room, thalassotherapy pool. The Pulse Fitness Center was also enlarged and upgraded with new gym equipment (gym is open 6 am-11 pm, with Aerobics Studio- complimentary aerobics/fitness classes, Pilates and Yoga at surcharge; Mandara Spa is open 8 am-10 pm, treatment rooms, complimentary Steam and Sauna, relaxation area, Hair & Beauty Salon).
  • Pool (with 4 Whirlpools, stage, complimentary poolside deck barbecues, Waves pool bar/open 8 am-11 pm)
  • Garden Cafe and Kids Cafe (indoor buffet restaurant, complimentary; has a special kids' dedicated area with smaller chairs and tables; early breakfast 5:30-7 am, Breakfast 7-11 am, Lunch 12-3 pm, Dinner 5:30-9:30 pm)
  • Onda by Scarpetta is an Italian specialty restaurant (reservations-only, cover charge, kids charged a full cover). The Onda restaurant is open between 5:30-9:30 pm and has large tables. The ship’s Italian dining experience is marked by a casual atmosphere and large portions (perfect for family dinners) and traditional Italian fine wines and gourmet cuisine specialties – oven-baked pizzas, home-made daily pasta, seafood, classic salads, freshly baked bread, gourmet desserts (including gelato ice cream). Onda by Scarpetta additionally has a separate outdoor terrace (Waterfront seating area).
  • The Great Outdoors is an outdoor buffet restaurant (complimentary) serving Breakfast (8:30-11:30 am), Lunch (12:30-2:30 pm) and afternoon tea with snacks (3-5:30 pm).
