Norwegian Spirit cabins and suites

NCL Spirit cabins for disabled passengers (wheelchair-accessible rooms) total five and are available in the following categories (with deck location in brackets): Oceanview (OG – deck 4, cabin 4498) and Interior/Inside (IA – decks 10 and 11, cabins 10137, 10637, 11129, 11629). The ship offers 27 cabin categories (including guarantee grades).

The following is a review of Norwegian Spirit staterooms, including amenities, furniture, and included (complimentary) services:

All staterooms feature a sleeping area (bedside tables, two lower beds convertible to a queen-size bed, plus additional/optional beds for extra passengers), an en-suite bathroom (toilet, sink, shower stall, bath products, hairdryer, towels), and a sitting area (wardrobe/ample closet space, vanity table, chair, smart HDTV with infotainment system, electronic safe, life jackets in the closet, mini-refrigerator, direct-dial phone, and individually controlled air-conditioning).

Additional amenities and bonus perks for Suite guests include butler and concierge service, keycard access, in-room dining (suites-only menu, full breakfast, nightly treats), complimentary specialty restaurant dining (breakfast and lunch), luxury bedding (deluxe mattresses, pillow menu), welcome gifts (Champagne, bottled water, fruit, flowers), espresso coffee maker, cotton bathrobes, slippers, terry towels, walk-in closets, and priority services (check-in, embarkation, disembarkation, tender boarding, spa and restaurant reservations, show venues).

All Suites and Balcony cabins feature a private veranda furnished with a small table and chairs (owners’ suites include loungers).

Both Owner’s Suites on deck 9 include a separate bedroom (queen bed), living and dining rooms, a luxury bathroom (whirlpool bathtub, separate shower, toilet, double-sink vanity), a guest bathroom (toilet, sink), and a wet bar.

Deluxe Penthouses also feature luxury bathrooms (whirlpool bathtub, separate shower, toilet, double-sink vanity), lounge and dining areas, wet bar, and queen beds.

SE–SG Penthouses (Junior Suites) include queen beds, lounge and dining areas, and a separate bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (whirlpool bathtub, separate shower, toilet, double-sink vanity). SG Penthouses are aft-located and have larger balconies.

All Balcony cabins include a sitting area with a single sofabed and a bathroom with shower.

Oceanview cabins come in two variants: large Picture Window or round Porthole Window.

Inside cabin sizes range between 150 and 200 ft². The largest (200 ft²) are cabins 5035, 6035, and 6535. Next in size (190 ft²) are cabins 9203 and 9207.

Since May 2015, Norwegian Cruise Line has applied a US$7.95 room service charge fleetwide (including on the NCL Spirit). Only guests in “The Haven” suites are exempt. As an exception, all passengers may order morning coffee and Continental Breakfast free of charge. After implementing this service fee, NCL upgraded the room service menu, adding more hot breakfast items and expanding the 24-hour food and beverage selection.
