Norwegian Aqua cabins and suites

Norwegian Aqua has a total of 1760 passenger staterooms in 36 categories (including 19 Suite grades), and approximately 70% feature private step-out balconies. The total number of The Haven suites is 107. An expanded Studio complex houses single-occupancy cabins (Studios for solo travelers) and the Studio Lounge, both with exclusive keycard access.

Staff/crew cabins total 912.

The NCL Aqua ship offers numerous “Family” category accommodations, including Balcony, Oceanview, and Interior staterooms. The ship has 23 Owner Suites, 54 Courtyard Penthouses, 80 Suites, 1030 Balcony staterooms, 124 Oceanviews, 385 Inside cabins, and 73 Studios.

The PRIMA PLUS class ship design features 19 Suite categories (including the fleet’s first 3-Bedroom Duplex Suites) and the largest Inside, Oceanview and Balcony staterooms in the NCL fleet.

• The smallest category is T1-Studio (95 ft2 / 9 m2). Inside cabins are 160-255 ft2 (15-24 m2).
• Oceanview cabins have a large round window and come in Standard (185 ft2 / 17 m2), Large (235 ft2 / 22 m2) and Family (235-370 ft2 / 22-34 m2) types.
• Balcony cabins range from 230-270-360 ft2 (21-25-34 m2), with balconies sized 45-70-100 ft2 (4-7-9 m2).
• The largest accommodation is The Haven Premier Owner's Suite (capacity 8 passengers), sized 2100 ft2 (195 m2) and featuring a wraparound terrace of 830 ft2 (77 m2).

3-Bedroom Duplex Suites (category H8) are two-level accommodations located aft on decks 15-16. The levels are connected via an indoor sweeping staircase. Level 1 includes the Living Room and a small bedroom with direct access to a bathroom (also accessible from the hallway). The terrace is accessed from the Living Room. Level 2 houses two larger bedrooms, each with a closet and full bathroom. The Living Room and the Master Bedroom/Bathroom feature floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows.

The cruise ship has 42 handicap staterooms (ADA-certified, wheelchair-accessible cabins) in the following categories: HB-Haven Aft Penthouse (1); BA-BB-BF-Balcony (16); O4-Oceanview (7); IA-IB-IF-Inside (17). The total number of cabin categories is 39, including the “Guaranteed” categories MX (Club Balcony Suite), BX (Balcony), OX (Oceanview), IX (Inside).

All passenger staterooms include a sleeping area with standard twin/single beds (convertible to a Queen-size bed, with leather headboard and recessed lighting), en-suite bathroom (WC, sink, shower stall, bath products, hairdryer), sitting/lounge area (full-size wardrobe, vanity area, ample storage), smart HDTV (26-inch infotainment system with recessed nook), electronic safe, life jackets (in the closet), mini-refrigerator, direct-dial phone, writing desk with four power outlets (2 American, 2 European), individual air-conditioning, and keycard-controlled lighting. Bathrooms feature a sink with storage beneath, glass-door shower, dispensers, and luxury bath products (Elemis in Haven and Spa categories).

The highest-grade accommodations are in The Haven Suite categories, featuring large terraces with outdoor jacuzzis and four-seat dining tables. Haven Suite guests enjoy exclusive access to dedicated relaxation and dining venues, as well as restricted-access public areas served by two aft-located Haven elevators. Norwegian Aqua’s Haven complex offers a private Sundeck (with an infinity pool, two Jacuzzis, sunbathing zone), exclusive wellness facilities (spa and fitness), and 24-hour butler service. Additional benefits for Suite guests include keycard access, welcome gifts (Champagne, fruit, flowers), in-room dining (full breakfast menu, evening treats), pillow menu, premium mattresses, upgraded bedding, slippers, terry towels, 24-hour concierge and butler service (including luggage unpacking), large HDTVs (with DVD players), coffee machines, refrigerator, priority services (check-in, debarkation, tender boarding, dining reservations), and complimentary specialty restaurant dining (breakfast and lunch).

Since May 2015, Norwegian Cruise Line has charged US$7.95 for room service dining. This fleetwide fee applies aboard Norwegian Aqua. The only passengers exempt from the charge are guests staying in The Haven suites. All passengers may still order morning coffee and Continental Breakfast free of charge. After implementing the fee, NCL expanded the room service menu with additional hot breakfast items and more 24-hour food and beverage selections.

Handicap/wheelchair-accessible cabins

NCL Aqua’s gangways are wide enough for most wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

The ship offers 42 accessible cabins for passengers with disabilities. These accommodations feature widened doors, roll-in showers, grab bars, lowered sinks and closet rods, raised toilets, amplified phones, and captioned TVs.
