Norwegian Aura cabins and suites

Norwegian Aura has a total of 1,976 passenger staterooms in 37 categories (including 19 suite grades) and ~70% have private step-out balconies. The total number of The Haven suites is 156.

An expanded Studio complex houses single-occupancy cabins (Studios for solo travelers) and Studio Lounge, both with exclusive keycard access. Additionally, the NCL Aura ship introduces three new single-occupancy cabin categories - Solo Inside (IT), Solo Oceanview (OT), and Solo Balcony (BT). They can be booked at fares lower than the double occupancy cabins.

The NCL Aura ship also has numerous staterooms in "Family" categories, including Balcony, Oceanview, and Interior. The ship has a total of 27x Owner Suites, 83x Courtyard Penthouses, 80x Suites, 1110x Balcony staterooms, 156x Oceanviews, 389x Inside cabins, 73x Studios.

The NCL PRIMA PLUS class ship design boasts 19x Suite categories (including NCL's new 3-Bedroom Duplex Suites) and the fleet's largest accommodations (Inside-, Oceanview- and Balcony).

• The smallest category is T1-Studio (95 ft2 / 9 m2). Inside cabins are sized 160-255 ft2 (15-24 m2).
• Oceanviews have a Large Round Window and are in three types - Standard (185 ft2 / 17 m2), Large (235 ft2 / 22 m2) and Family (235-370 ft2 / 22-34 m2).
• Balcony cabins vary in sizes between 230-270-360 ft2 (21-25-34 m2), with step-out balconies sized between 45-70-100 ft2 (4-7-9 m2).
• The largest accommodations are the two The Haven Premier Owner's Suites. Each sleeps 8 passengers and is sized 2080 ft2 (119 m2), including the wraparound terrace sized 800 ft2 (74 m2).

3-Bedroom Duplex Suites (category H8) are two-level accommodations positioned aft on decks 15-16. The access between the upper and lower floors is via an indoor sweeping staircase. On Level 1 are the Living Room and a small bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (also accessed from the hallway). The terrace is accessed from the living room. On Level 2 are two larger bedrooms, each with its own closet and full bathroom. The Living Room, the Master Bedroom and the Bathroom have floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows.

The cruise ship has a total of 48 handicap staterooms (ADA-certified, wheelchair-accessible cabins) in the following categories/types: HB-Haven Aft Penthouse (1), SL-Family Suite (2), BA-BB-BF-Balcony (15), O4-Oceanview (7), IA-IB-IF-Inside (23). The total number of cabin categories is 40, including the "Guaranteed" categories (MX-Club Balcony Suite, BX-Balcony, OX-Oceanview, IX-Inside).

All passenger staterooms as amenities feature sleeping area with standard twin/single beds (convertible to Queen-size double bed, with leather headboard and above-bed, lighted recess), en-suite bathroom (WC-toilet, sink, shower stall, bath products, hairdryer), lounge/sitting area (full-size wardrobe, vanity area, ample storage space), smart HDTV (26-inch, infotainment system, with recessed under TV nook), electronic safe box and life jackets (in the closet), mini-refrigerator, direct-dial phone, writing desk with 4 power outlets (2 American, 2 European), individual air-conditioning, keycard access (lighting control). Cabin bathrooms with sink (storage space underneath), glass-door shower, shower dispensers, luxury bath products (Elemis in Haven and Spa rooms).

The top-tier/highest grade accommodations are in The Haven Suite categories, with large terraces fitted with outdoor jacuzzis and 4-seat dining tables. Haven Suite passengers enjoy exclusive access to relaxation and dining venues and restricted public space accessed via two The Haven elevators (aft-located). NCL Aura's The Haven complex has an exclusive Sundeck (with 1x infinity swimming pool, 2 Jacuzzis, sunbathing area, private wellness facilities (spa & fitness), 24-hour butler service. Bonus perks for Suite guests are: key-card cabin access, welcome gifts (Champagne, fruits, flowers), in-room dining (full breakfast menu, evening treats), pillow menu, luxury mattresses, deluxe bedding, plush slippers, terry towels, 24-hour personal butler and concierge service (luggage unpacking), large HDTVs (with DVD players), coffee machines, refrigerator, priority services (check-in, debarkation, tender boat boarding, dining reservations), complimentary specialty restaurant dining (breakfast and lunch).

Since May 2015, the Norwegian Cruise Line's room service dining is subject to a charge. This is an extra service charge implemented fleetwide (including on the NCL Aura ship). Passengers exempted from the room service fee are only the occupants of "The Haven" suites. Still, as an exception, all passengers can order (for free) their room-service morning coffee and Continental Breakfast. NCL offers room service ordering 24 hours a day.

Handicap/wheelchair-accessible cabins

NCL Aura ship's gangways are all wide enough for most types of wheelchairs and disability scooters.

For Norwegian Cruise Line passengers with disabilities, there are a total of 48 accessible cabins, all of which have wider doors, roll-in showers, grab bars, lower sinks, and closet rods, raised toilets, amplified phones, and captioned TVs.

All public restrooms on the ship have stalls and automatic door systems. All decks provide elevator access. All onboard dining venues, bars, and lounges offer wheelchair access/seating.
