Norwegian Pearl cabins and suites

NCL Pearl cabins for disabled passengers (wheelchair-accessible rooms) are available in the following categories (with deck locations): Penthouse Suite (SF – deck 9), Mini Suite (M1 – deck 11), Balcony (BB – deck 10, BC – deck 9), Oceanview (OK – deck 8), and Interior/Inside cabins (IE – deck 4, IC – deck 11, I1 – decks 4, 8, 10, 11).

The following is a review of Norwegian Pearl stateroom amenities, furniture and included (complimentary) services:

All staterooms feature a sleeping area (bedside tables, two lower beds convertible into a queen-size bed, plus additional/optional beds for extra guests); an en-suite bathroom (WC, sink, shower stall, bath products, hairdryer, towels); and a lounge/sitting area (wardrobe with ample closet space, vanity table, chair, smart HDTV with infotainment system, electronic safe, life jackets in the closet, mini-refrigerator, direct-dial phone, and individual air conditioning).

All Suites and Balcony cabins have floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a private veranda with lounge furniture (one round table with two chairs or sun loungers). Full furniture details are shown in the NCL Pearl cabin floor plans in the table above.

Bonus amenities/perks for Suite accommodations include butler service; priority services (check-in, debarkation, tendering at ports of call, dining and show/spa reservations); in-room dining (plus evening treats); a special room service menu; invitations to private events; complimentary mini-bar and bottled water; luxury cotton robes; deluxe bedding (pillow-top mattresses, pillow menu, slippers, towels); walk-in closets; a Cappuccino/Espresso coffee maker; complimentary specialty restaurant dining (breakfast and lunch); and complimentary limo service (pier–airport).

Guests in NCL Pearl’s The Haven suites also enjoy exclusive access to The Haven Courtyard (private sun deck, pool and whirlpool with valet service, and private fitness area).

• The Haven Garden Villas feature separate living and dining rooms; three bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other two with private bathrooms; rollaway beds and cribs available); a master bathroom (whirlpool tub and separate shower); and a media center (with DVD/CD player).
• The Haven Courtyard Penthouses have a master bedroom (queen bed), a small additional bedroom (with private bathroom/shower), a main bathroom (with whirlpool tub and shower), and separate living/dining areas.
• The Haven Owner’s Suites (Deluxe Owner’s Suites) include a bedroom (king bed) and separate living and dining rooms.

Balcony Family Suites (Two-Bedroom Suites / Family Penthouses) feature a master bedroom (queen bed) and a smaller bedroom (with private bathroom/shower), a living room with dining area, and a bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate shower.

SE–SF Penthouse Suites include combined sitting/sleeping areas (queen bed), a bathroom (bathtub and shower), and minibars. Category SF Penthouse Suites are aft-facing and commonly known as “Romance Suites.” Category SE Penthouse Suites are forward-facing and have large balconies with views of the bow. Veranda partitions are semi-private.

Mini-Suites (Studio Suites) have two lower beds convertible to a queen, and a bathroom with bathtub and shower.

Balcony, Oceanview, and Inside cabins have two lower beds (convertible) and a bathroom with shower. Most Oceanview categories have one Picture Window, except OF and OG (with Porthole Windows). Categories OK and OX have fully or partially obstructed views due to lifeboats.

Since May 2015, Norwegian Cruise Line has charged US$7.95 for room-service dining. This service fee applies fleetwide, including on Norwegian Pearl. Guests exempt from the fee are occupants of The Haven suites. All passengers may still order complimentary morning coffee and Continental Breakfast. After introducing the service charge, NCL upgraded the room-service menu by adding more hot breakfast items and expanding the 24-hour food and beverage selection.
