Review of Norwegian Star deck 7 (Lobby-Promenade-Shops)

Ginza (98 seats, complimentary Asian restaurant since 2015) – offers Chinese, Japanese, Thai cuisine, Noodle Bar, plus a la carte priced menu (Sushi, Sashimi, Ishiyaki).

Teppanyaki Room (12 seats) is the Japanese Hibachi specialty restaurant (reservations’-only, at surcharge US$25 pp, kids charged a full cover). The Teppanyaki restaurant (located inside the Ginza restaurant) operates with fixed sittings for Lunch (12 am) and Dinner (5, 6:30, 8 and 9:30 pm). It features live cooking demonstrations and traditionally prepared (a la carte priced) specialties, including sushi, fruit sashimi, Yakitori grill, a sake menu.

Sushi Bar (a small 12 seats Ginza restaurant, a la carte pricing; reservations recommended; open 12-1:30 pm and 5:30 pm)

Sake Bar (8 seats, inside Ginza; opens at 5 pm)

The Red Lion Pub (37 seats English pub and sports bar, has large TVs, draft beer, karaoke, Wii bowling). The Pub was replaced in 2015 by the new “Five O’Clock Somewhere Bar”.

Internet Cafe (50 Internet computers room, 24-hour)

Java Cafe (73 seats specialty coffee/tea bar, pastries, cookies, opens 7 am)

Bliss Ultra Lounge (replacing the 405-seat aft Show Lounge & Nightclub Spinnaker Lounge during 2018 refurb).

The Spinnaker Lounge & Club show and observation venue featured a dance floor, full bar, and also hosted dance classes, bingo, game shows; opens at 10 am)

Grand Atrium (2-decks high midship area, live musical entertainment, also used for seminars)

Reception (Reservations Desk), Star’s Shore Excursions Desk (booking, information)

Art Gallery (exhibitions, art auction purchases)

Photo Gallery (checking out cruise experience photos and photo purchases)

Tradewinds / Galleria Boutiques (aft, tax and duty-free shops for jewellery, watches, gifts and souvenirs, clothes, alcohol, tobaccos, Photo Gallery & Shop)

Port o’ Call (perfumes and cosmetics boutique)

Stardust Theatre (level 3 of 3)

Five O’Clock Somewhere Bar (aft-portside location / added during refurbishment 2015 in the place of the Red Lion Pub) sells signature margarita cocktails and features nightly live music entertainment.
