Virgin Voyages' 3rd cruise ship Resilient Lady successfully completes sea trials

Virgin Voyages announced that their 3rd ship, Resilient Lady, had successfully completed the final sea trial, returning safely to Sestri Shipyard (Genoa, Italy).

During the speed trial, the newbuild reached a speed of 23 knots (26.5 mph/42.6 kph).

Virgin are continuing to work closely with the Fincantieri team in order to get Resilient Lady ready before the debut in August from Piraeus-Athens (Greece). Together, the marine teams are testing the vessel's automation system, safety, powerplant and propulsion systems.

Once the boat hits the waters on August 14, 2022, she will sail the following 7-night itineraries: 

Resilient Lady is also scheduled to embark on one, 9-night journey before sailing an 11-night trans-Atlantic cruise from Portugal (Lisbon) to Puerto Rico (San Juan).
