The 1998-built MS Johannes Brahms cruise ship is owned by the Stuttgart, Germany-based company Hansa Touristik GmbH and chartered to the Dutch Cruise Line (Netherlands).

The vessel (ENI number 4033510) is currently Holland-flagged (MMSI 244183027) and registered in Amsterdam.
Following an extensive refurbishment during the winter of 2022–2023, the ship’s flag state was changed from Germany (MMSI 211597760, registered in Cologne) to the Netherlands (MMSI 244183027).
Decks and Cabins
MS Johannes Brahms has a total of 42 staterooms, all with river views and large windows located above the waterline.
The cabins are compact yet comfortable, featuring a private bathroom (toilet, shower, washbasin), electronic safe (in the closet), hairdryer, mini-fridge, TV, telephone, and individually controlled air conditioning. Each stateroom also includes a small writing desk or mirrored vanity with two chairs.
All cabins have fixed (non-foldable) beds and are distributed across two decks.

Shipboard Facilities and Amenities
MS Johannes Brahms features timeless interior decor with earthy tones in both the Restaurant and Bar Lounge.

Deck 3 (Sun Deck) features the open-air lounge and sunbathing area with shaded seating under awnings, as well as the Navigation Bridge (Wheelhouse).
The ship has no passenger elevator/lift and is specifically designed for navigation on shallow waterways.
The typical passenger profile consists of European travelers aged 45 and over, mainly from Germany.
At full capacity, the vessel maintains a crew-to-passenger ratio of 1:4.
