MSC Cruises opened bookings for the MSC World Cruise 2025 with a new itinerary aboard the MSC Magnifica ship.

Passengers can embark on the voyage of a lifetime from 4 European ports: Civitavecchia-Rome (Italy), Genoa-Milan (Italy), Marseille (France), and Barcelona (Spain) on January 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025, respectively.

The 116-night journey around the world is scheduled to visit 50 destinations in 21 different countries, with 7 overnights, featuring 22 destinations that have never been featured on an MSC World Cruise before.

The 3-month long cruise will bring vacationers to 5 continents, crossing 3 oceans (Atlantic, Pacific, Indian), and sailing 30,000+ NM/nautical miles.

MSC World Cruise 2025 begins with famous port cities in Italy, France, and Spain prior to sailing to Casablanca (Morocco). A week into the journey, guests can spend their first days at sea, followed by a trip to Mindelo, Cape Verde’s capital.

After crossing the Atlantic, passengers spend 10 days exploring South America with overnights in Valparaiso (Chile), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and Buenos Aires (Argentina), as well as a visit to the Falklands, and the continent's most southern point, Ushuaia.

The ship then makes her way across the South Pacific Ocean calling at tropical islands for ~2 weeks: Easter Island (Chile), Moorea (French Polynesia), Aitutaki and Rarotonga (Cook Islands).

An extended discovery of New Zealand & Australia starts with the Northern Islands of NZ. In 8 days, guests visit Auckland, Tauranga, Napier, Christchurch and Dunedin, followed by cruising the Milford Sound fjord.

Marking the 2nd month of sailing, Magnifica visits Sydney (NSW Australia) and commences one of the highlight legs of the voyage - 19 days around the rugged Southern & Western coasts of the country.

Arriving in Asia, the ship first calls at Benoa (Bali, Indonesia). After an overnight, the backdrop changes entirely as Magnifica sails to Singapore. To complete the Asian itinerary, passengers visit Port Klang and Penang (Malaysia), followed by the island of Phuket (Thailand).

During the voyage across the Indian Ocean, passengers can enjoy a visit to Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital. The port of Aqaba (Jordan) awaits where they can visit the archaeological site of Petra. Travelers then can enjoy the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheik, ancient sites in Luxor (from Safaga port), the Suez Canal transit, and then sail on to Alexandria, from where it's possible to visit Cairo/the Pyramids of Giza.

To round up the itinerary, MSC Magnifica is due to sail back to Europe, visiting 4 iconic cities in Italy, and ending the trip full in Genoa.
