On March 31st, 2023, Costa Cruises celebrates its 75th anniversary.

75 years ago, on that day in 1948, the first passenger ship of the fleet “Anna C” departed from Genoa (Italy) bound for Buenos Aires (Argentina), with 768 passengers onboard.

To celebrate the anniversary, Costa has come up with a unique initiative: 75 voyages at a special price, available until April, with various dates depending on the markets, to sail throughout 2023, from early spring to autumn, to discover destinations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Costa Diadema, Costa Smeralda, and Costa Toscana will offer week-long sailings in the Western Mediterranean, discovering France, Italy, and Spain.

Toscana's itinerary features Genoa (Milan), Marseille, Barcelona, Cagliari, Naples, and Rome-Civitavecchia. Costa Smeralda visits Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma (Ibiza in summer), Palermo, and Rome-Civitavecchia. Costa Diadema instead offers Savona, Rome-Civitavecchia, Cagliari/Ajaccio (depending on departures), Palma, Valencia, and Marseille.

In the eastern Med, Costa Deliziosa will visit Marghera-Venice (Italy), Katakolon-Olympia (Greece), Mykonos, Santorini Island, and Bari. During the summer, Pacifica will call at Taranto, Catania (Sicily Italy), Valletta (Malta), Mykonos, and Santorini Island. Both itineraries are week-long.

During the summer, Costa Fortuna will offer a new 14-day itinerary between the Greek and the Balearic Islands, with Savona, Rome-Civitavecchia, Messina, 4 Greek islands, Palma, Barcelona, and Marseille.

From May through to September, voyages in Northern Europe are also available.

Costa Fascinosa offers 12-day itineraries to the North Cape (Nordkapp)/9-day voyages to the Baltic. Costa Favolosa is due to visit Iceland, the Lofoten Islands, Greenland, or Great Britain and Ireland. Costa Firenze offers week-long cruises in the Fjords.

For guests with a few days available, the company offers mini-cruises to France/Spain in spring, lasting from 3 or 5 days, with Fascinosa, Favolosa, Fortuna, and Pacifica.

For a longer break, there are different 2-week journeys to choose from in spring: the Canaries with Diadema and Fortuna; or Turkey & the Greek islands with Costa Fortuna; Costa Pacifica voyages to Israel & Egypt; and voyages from the Mediterranean to Northern Europe with Favolosa, Fascinosa, and Firenze; or from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean in September. Also available will be 10-day cruises to Lisbon (Portugal) with Fascinosa and 11-day sailings to Morocco with Favolosa.
