Carnival Luminosa deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Carnival Luminosa deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Carnival Cruise Line deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Carnival Luminosa cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Luminosa staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Carnival Luminosa (built in 2009 as "Costa Luminosa", last refurbished in 2022 by CCL, with another refurbishment planned for October-November 2026, and previously refurbished by Costa in 2017) is the first of two identical LUMINOSA-class Costa Cruises ships featuring a Vista-Spirit hybrid design. Her sistership is Costa Deliziosa. In 2022, the vessel was transferred from Costa to Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) and, following a drydock, was renamed "Carnival Luminosa."
Note: CruiseMapper's Carnival Luminosa deckplan page also displays Costa Luminosa's deck names, each inspired by precious stones—Corallo (Coral), Zaffiro (Sapphire), Ambra (Amber), Agata (Agate), Avorio (Ivory), Rubino (Ruby), Smeraldo (Emerald), Topazio (Topaz), Acquamarina (Aquamarine), Giada (Jade), and Turchese (Turquoise).
The Carnival Luminosa deck plan includes a total of 1,130 staterooms accommodating 2,260 passengers (maximum capacity is 2,712), and she is served by 1,050 crew members. The ship has 12 passenger decks (all named after precious stones), 4 restaurants, 11 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools (one with a retractable glass roof), 4 outdoor Jacuzzis, and 12 elevators.
Luminosa does not have self-service laundromats on board. The vessel features a collection of 288 original artworks and 4,733 prints displayed throughout various areas of the ship.
Note: In addition to the onboard staff and crew, Costa cruise passengers are also assisted by Pepper robots—advanced humanoid robots introduced fleetwide in 2016. These mobile cyborgs greet and guide passengers during embarkation and assist throughout the voyage by providing information and tips about dining, entertainment, enrichment programs (workshops and scheduled events), casino and shopping offers, and shore excursions. Pepper robots communicate in English, German, and Italian, and can interpret human emotions by analyzing voice tone and facial expressions.
