Deck layout and review

Review of Independence Of The Seas deck 14

  • Olive or Twist Twist (Lounge & Bar, 45 seats) is a jazz club with its own bar, dance floor and bandstand for live performances. Here are also held Explorer Academy classes (daily), martini tastings and the “Murder Mystery” (dinner show). Nightly, the lounge also offers “silent disco” (headphones being provided).
  • Viking Crown Lounge & Bar is an indoor observation lounge (capacity 134 seats) with slanted windows and comfortable seating. The Crow’s Nest (70-seat observation room) offers top-ship panoramic views along the Explorer of the Seas itinerary routes. This is among the ship’s best vantage points for taking pictures and enjoy the ports of call arrival and departure maneuvers.
  • Diamond Club (32 seats) is an exclusive lounge & bar for Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club passengers (by the RCI’s loyalty program). This exclusive lounge is open 24-hours, has a full-service bar and offers complimentary amenities and concierge service.
  • *(drydock 2018 refurbishment) On Deck 14 (forward-portside) the multi-purpose rooms "Cloud Nine" and "Seven Hearts" were replaced by exclusive "Suite Lounge".
  • Suite Lounge (Concierge Club, 26 seats) is an exclusive lounge & bar for Grand Suite and above passengers and for Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club guests (by the RCI’s loyalty program).
  • “Cloud 9” (24 seats) and “Seven Hearts” (33 seats) are multipurpose rooms used for small-group meetings, workshops/classes, playing cards and board games. Note: During the ship’s next scheduled refurbishment, the multipurpose rooms will be replaced with Suite Lounge.
